terrace Panorama — Restaurant in Sighnaghi

We, as a family, had a rather disappointing experience with waiter ‘Giga’ at the Terrace Panorama restaurant in Sighnaghi. Giga displayed an unwelcoming attitude throughout our dining experience, which, unfortunately, overshadowed the overall ambiance. To add to the dissatisfaction, Giga rushed to present the bill before we even had the chance to finish our meal, creating an abrupt ending to our dining experience.

What struck me as peculiar was the timing of this premature bill request – it occurred approximately 3 hours before the restaurant's scheduled closing time. Surprisingly, there were no other customers around, making the situation even more perplexing. This unusual and untimely approach to service left me questioning the professionalism and customer-centric values of the establishment. I believe it's important to highlight these aspects for the restaurant's attention and potential improvement.

Don't go there! We choose this place only because of view, but it's not worth it. Food was really bad, we ordered all the different shashlik plates, with vegetables, bread, etc. Meat was not tasty, and gummy, to salty. I belive we were also cheated, because we ordered the lamb, and got pork instead. When I said, that it fine, could happen, we will just pay for pork, the guys there were super rude and told me I am wrong, and it's my problem. Whoever ate lamp, knows the the taste cannot be mistsken with pork. Apart from that, there was the worst service experience in my life. Despite being rude, they counted 12% service fee, but for what? The restaurant is just 5 mins walking distance of the clocktower out off the ciycenter but on the Sanaga road. This is why it seems to be more like a daytime restaurant but i went here in the evening and i did not regret. The atmosphere and the food was incredible, the well english speaking staff very friendly and the panorama, even at night is spectacular. If you want to go to a more cosi and romantic place than the restaurants in town, this is the place to be. They serve homemade wine and lovely food which is obviously made with a lot of care and love. You will not regret coming here!
