We found this place on Google maps, and were very positively surprised when we got there! You drive through the whole industrial park to get there, so when we finally arrived, we were astonished to find a very neat, well-maintained riding academy. The restaurant is located on the first floor, and although we were late by German standards for lunch, the staff was very friendly and attentive. The food was a little too salty, but the experience was great overall. Love this place remember the warm smile of our server, who took the time to explain the daily specials and made us feel like regulars. The lovely cozy ambiance where u can see the horses has his one charm. But it was the food that truly stole the show. The tender schnitzel, crispy on the outside and juicy on the inside, was cooked to perfection. And the sides! Oh, the sides - creamy sauerkraut and buttery spätzle that left us wanting more. Das Essen war ok, die Location war auch ok. Wir waren eine kleine nette multikulturelle Hochzeitsgesellschafft die bis ca 2 Uhr morgens feierte. Als zum Schluss noch die engsten Freunde und die Braut da waren, wurde auch schon fleißig abgebaut von der Belegschaft. Anschließend kam der Inhaber mit einem unangemessenen Ton auf die Braut zu, es solle jetzt sofort die Rechnung von knapp 3000 Euro bezahlt werden. Abgemacht war die Bezahlung nach der Hochzeit zu übernehmen. Aus Erfahrung kenne ich, dass man am nächsten Tag bezahlt, wenn man Dekoration etc. abholt. Als ich versuchte in Ruhe mit dem Inhaber zu sprechen, weil die Braut bereits am weinen war und nicht wusste was sie tun sollte, maulte der Inhaber selbst mich an und alle letzten Gäste. Es ging für eine Stunde ein hin und her. Als der Bräutigam zurück kam eskalierte die Situation, sodass wir einfach gingen. Als am nächsten Tag bezahlt werden sollte, parkte der Inhaber das Auto des Brautpaares so zu, sodass die beiden nicht weg kam. Es musste von der Polizei geregelt werden. Im Kopf blieb mir, die weinende Braut, deren wichtigster Tag durch solch eine Aktion zerstört wurde. (Natürlich wurde die Rechnung bezahlt). Wenn ich Minus Sterne geben könnte würde ich es tun.
