Taj Mahal — Restaurant in Bad Schwartau

Very nice Indian food, and it was great to be able to ask for "proper" spicy and not normal. We had the chx korma, butter chx and mixed lental Dahl, we cleared the lot. Naan is probably not made in traditional oven, pizza ovn maybe, but definitely not shop bought as others have suggested. Very polite and nice service, and very effective. We did not wait long for the food, and was left to enjoy it, but if we asked for more drinks or other needs they were very quick to respond and fix.

Ich bin schon seit Jahren an dem Lokal vorbeigelaufen, aber nie eingekehrt. Einzig weil es optisch sehr nüchtern eingerichtet ist, wirkt nicht gemütlich. Aber das Auge isst halt nicht nur mit, sondern bestimmt auch gewisse Entscheidungen, ob man zum Beispiel etwas betritt oder weitergeht.

Nach 10 Jahren sind wir jetzt dort das erste Mal essen gegangen, eigentlich komisch, da ich schon immer die indische Küche gerne mochte.

Beim Ambiente geht noch was, auch ohne tausende Euro investiert zu müssen.

Zusammenfassung Service und Speisen

Der Service war top, sehr freundlich und zuvorkommend, dazu es sehr flink.

Linsensuppe 2+ (wirklich hausgemachte frische Suppe)

Tandoori-Hühnchen 2+ (Sehr lecker, wirklich zu empfehlen, mir fehlte nur der Hinweis das gar kein Soße dabei ist)

Butter Chicken 1 (Sehr schon serviert, geschmacklich perfekt abgestimmt)

Reis 1+ (Sehr selten, dass man einen so lockeren Safranreis serviert bekommt)

Naanbrot 1 (Besser geht wohl nicht, die Dipps perfekt)

Getränketipp, unbedingt das indische Bier vom Fass und das Mango Lassi probieren!
