Restaurant Kronberger — Restaurant in Bad Soden am Taunus

Honestly speaking, I am not sure how to rate this restaurant. The food was good, not too big plates but enough to appease one's hunger. Quality was also good and delicious. Problem was that although the restaurant was not crowded at all, the meals weren't served at the same time but with 5-6 mins delay between 2 dishes which causes the problem that we couldn't eat all at the same time. After we had our dinner, nobody came to ask if we wanted to drink something more. We asked for the desert menu, first they forgot to fetch it and after we reminded the staff one could feel that he was annoyed. Wir waren letzten Samstagmittag mit 5 Personen dort. Das Restaurant war ziemlich leer, also keine große Aufgabe für Service und Küche, sollte man meinen. Vor dem Essen wurde ein Körbchen mit kleinen Brotscheiben gebracht. Hierzu wurde weder Butter noch Schmalz gereicht, auch keine Teller. Auf Nachfrage dann ein etwas verständnisloser Blick und ein Gang in die Küche. Herausgebracht wurden zwei abgepackte kleine Butter und ein Tellerchen mit einer Pfütze Balsamico. Lieblos und eine sehr merkwürdige Kombination. Als Hauptgericht wurden u. a. zweimal Grillteller bestellt. Die Fleischportion war eine Kinderportion. Dies wurde später von der Bedienung selbst angemerkt. Es sollte uns der Preis für eine Seniorenportion angerechnet werden. Dies war angeblich im Kassensystem später nicht möglich. Die Nachfrage nach einem gratis Dessert als Wiedergutmachung wurde abgelehnt. Stattdessen sollte es zwei gratis Getränke geben, wovon eines später doch auf der Rechnung stand. Very nice service with delicious food! We had chicken schnitzel and pork schunitzel with greenbsource and both of it was not salty and well fried. I especially recommend the pork schunitzel they served with chopped bacon and potato. This was the way better than fried chips :-) I will definitely...
