I come here almost every other day so I really like the place for its good coffee and bagels and the nice pastries, despite the high price range (well, but what to expect in Feudahlem...). The place is cosy and clean, you have a nice choice of seats. The owner is very friendly and accomodating and so are 99% of his staff, which make the visit very pleasurable. It could be perfect. However, there is one kid working there who is really slow, inattentive and slouchy. He doesnt't greet guests like all the other staff members do, and each time he should serve someone it seems like he first has to wake up from his daydreams or from looking at his phone and he always makes people wait. If this had happened maybe once or twice I really wouldn''t mind, but EVERY single time I have been served by him I noticed this annoying behaviour. Even friends whom I have brought here found him very impolite and unprofessional. Maybe you can give him some more training or remind him every now and then that he works in a service facility, but this has annoyed me to a point where I am even writing a long-ass google review which I usually never do. The owner probably knows whom I refer to. Please, teach this kid a bit so you can live up to your reputation. And keep up the great coffee, it always...
Read moreIt's a really buzzing cafe. And generally it's quite quick service. I just couldn't stay long since the teenagers keep smoking multiple cigarettes, at their crowded and loud table. Other than that, it's a good place to just stop for a coffee or pastry.
It could just be such a fabulous place, but you have to order at the till, and it usually takes quite a while, since they also have a coffee window. So you better bring time and maybe get a table outside. I go here regularly because I like the coffee and my daughter eats the tomato soup or cold pasta snack they have. Bagels are also quite nice and in terms of hearty food, that's about it. Of course you can get pastries and cakes here as well, as well as ice cream. For an hour stay, reading, or a quick catch up with friends, it's quite good. Packed on weekends. I wished they would extend their menu to salads and do table service. I can appreciate the students or owners young adults working there is a good experience and they are definitely polite, but when it's busy, they struggle. Do go for a...
Read moreI go there usually because it has the best coffee around (the other places have bad coffee). The coffee at Bacis is not bad (though, given their excellent equipment and good coffee beans, it could be better) and people are generally nice, the atmosphere is quite cute. My low review is due to a cheesecake I ordered the other day, that was expensive, and literally tasted and had the consistency of those one can make with the supermarket powders, definitely not homemade. That was very disappointing, that this happened with the cheesecake makes me question...
