Baergarten — Restaurant in Berlin

We come to this beer garden on a regular basis, their food and drinks are very good.

Today however we had a terrible experience. We came in a few weeks ago and talked to the owner specifically asking to book a table on a quiet day for a birthday party of around 15 people. We have several autistic people in attendance which we explained to the owner and asked for a day when there wont be live music or lots of noise

They suggested a Sunday, April 28th. When we arrived today to set up we were told they did not know about our reservation, the place was packed with children for a flea market/fest. When we asked the staff we were told that there would be a private event with live music from 6pm onward.

Absolutely gutted. It’s ruined our birthday, leaving us with 15 people and...

Revier Südost used to be my one of fave events’ area in Berlin , and I was excited to visit the biergarten today. We arrived 13:45. I checked the website for opening hours (Sat from 12), as well as the big banner and the door sign confirmed it should be open from 12. It was dead as a dodo. No number to call to check. We waited until ~2pm, and then a sound engineer came out, who told us that no one is in at the moment and it should e open later (no idea when).. really disappointing, especially after 20km cycling deliberately...

I'm tired of trying to defend this place. You send a message on instagram, they don't reply, you sent an email, they take an eternity to reply, you go in person asking for a reservation, they said you need to send a message on Instagram.

After a week, they send an email confirming the reservation for a birthday celebration. We got there and surprise: an event is happening with super loud music and no tables to sit. Absurdly awful experience.
