Lunch 4Pax on a sunday The boat looks cute but a little run down. Toilets are about 70m of a walk but very clean. Service was prompt-ish. Portions are too small for the price though. The bread you get is toasted Turkish bread. Fresh one would be much nicer. However, the bread portion was big and we got offered more in case we ran out. Not sure if paid/free, but the offer was appreciated. The side salads upfront are really just leafy greens with onions and some vinaigrette and lacking some other veggies. You can't select any other sides but salad and bread and some dishes have rice instead. The salad on the side of the grilled fish is more of a decoration. Again a bit of leafy greens and a decorative piece of carrot. The fish is fresh and tasted very nice. Especially the salmon was to our liking. The grilled calamari were for my taste too oily. The lamb kotelettes were lean and well-seasoned. Great if they offered fried potatoes (Bratkartoffeln) or potatoes any other style. Side note : Menu isn't descriptive. There is a dish that said "mixed meats dish" and then the Turkish translation. It didn't name the meats or any other ingredients. Surely it's nice dish but a more detailed description would be more appealing. Speaking for myself I would rather order from the dishes I know than asking the waitress each and every time and I think it is a shame to miss out on possibly tasty turkish dish. Also , we spent about 15 minutes picking our dishes just for one of us to be told during ordering that they don't have it. It would be nice to inform first if something isn't available rather than whilst ordering and then waiting for the customer to pick a new dish on the spot. Either tell us upfront or offer more time to decide / make a suggestion.
The harbour itself is very nice especially when the weather is good. Old decor left from the time when the harbour was in use adds a nice flair. Roughly 90-100€ for 4 people for an average lunch. Overall 3*. Wouldn't be my first pick , but maybe would stop on occasion for a drink when I am...
Read moreAmbiente is very cozy and romantic. Couldn't have guessed, that Tempelhofer Hafen is such a nice escape from the noise and troubles of the city. Food is fresh and nicely prepared. Tried all sorts of fish they offered. They were very good, especially in that price range. Service is the matter here. Very slow, unattentive, forgetting half of the order. Doesn't make sense if you order for two and get your meals 20mins apart or drinks delivered when you are...

Kurze zusamm Fassung, BEVOR mein langer Text kommt: -LOCATION ABGEKOMMEN UNHYGIENIC ESSEN ÜBERTEUERT PORTIONEN ZU WENIG PERSONAL UNFREUNDLICH
