From the moment we stepped in, Hellmann & Klee had cosy and welcoming ambiance.

The highlight of the evening was undoubtedly the food, each dish was an absolute work of art, with an amazing presentation that truly elevated the dining experience. It was almost too beautiful to eat!

My partner enjoyed the vegetarian set menu while I opted for the non-vegetarian set menu, and I can confidently say both menus were superbly crafted. As someone who normally doesn't like fish and was skeptical about trying it, I was genuinely surprised, the fish was incredible and ended up being a highlight for me! It truly showcased the chef's mastery.

We opted for the drinks pairing, which we highly recommend. The staffs knowledge and information was exceptional, and every pour perfectly complemented the intricate flavors of the courses. It was clear that immense thought and care went into creating such a harmonious culinary journey.

Beyond the incredible food and drink, the fantastic service of all the staff truly stood out. Every team member was attentive, warm, and incredibly well-informed, anticipating our needs before we even had to ask. The care to detail was certainly special, making us feel truly valued.

English is my preferred language and I greatly appreciated how friendly and accommodating they were, ensuring a seamless and enjoyable experience.

This place is up there with the best dining experiences we’ve ever had. And, as people who live to travel, we’ve tried everything from Parisian temples of gastronomy with three Michelin stars (read very good but also very, very expensive, with a questionable price:overall experience ratio) to street food in Peru, and everything in between.

The restaurant is a good size, big enough to have a nice buzz, small enough to feel intimate, and simply and tastefully decorated with a clean, modern vibe. We had the “nicht-vegetarisch” menu including the cheese course and the drink pairing, starting with the oysters and a pre-dinner drink. Each course was, in its own way, delicious but the whole was more than the sum of its parts. The menu came together beautifully. The different flavours and textures made a playful, but harmonious, overall experience. And the paired drinks took the meal to the next level.

The service was personable and attentive, and we had a very pleasant and memorable evening. I’d rate Hallman & Klee at higher than one Michelin star. Gault&Millau gives them three black toques, which signifies a remarkable restaurant. I’d agree...

I went here with my girlfriend to celebrate a new job. Reservations were easy to make directly on site with a slick interface.

We were quickly seated and the staff was remarkably friendly, inviting, and knowledgeable about all their offerings.

They had a few add ons (oysters, an additional course option, and beverages) - the menus were split into two prix fixe options: vegetarian & a traditional menu with meat and seafood.

I was impressed by every dish: that's no exaggeration.

Even the bread and butter were exceptional.

The drink pairings were out of this world. The non alcoholic pairing was absurdly on the nose, absolutely enhancing every bite

It ended up being a 3 hour experience and it has come up in our conversations over a week later which really feels like an exceptional return on investment.

It is a somewhat indulgent experience that I would do again and again if I could.
