I had the pleasure to try almost every single Pizza at Havel Pizza, Located in Spandau, just across from the river with an amazing view. Let me tell you, it was an experience worth raving about!

The highlight is undoubtedly the delicious pizzas they serve. The Napoletana pizza is an absolute delight, bursting with flavor from the carefully selected toppings. Each bite is a perfect harmony of fresh ingredients and the right amount of cheese. The crust, in particular, is a standout, with its irresistibly tasty and slightly chewy texture.

What sets Havel Pizza apart is not just their exceptional food but also the picturesque surroundings. The restaurant's location offers a stunning view of the river, adding a touch of serenity to the dining experience. My prayers have been answered. This pizza is certified GOLD and I hope it never leaves the Havel 🥰. The dangerous part is that it’s closer to my apartment then the gym..😩🥴The restaurant is clean, food is delicious, staff is friendly and bonus ironically my neighbors. I ordered the “Spinata”.

For me this wasn’t spicy initially but I added some crushed chilis when I got home, because my tastebuds like it extreme😉. The fresh Italian cheese was so yummy, the flavors blended together beyond perfectly.

This pizza should actually be illegal. It was so good I dreamt about it overnight and then I preordered it for a early dinner less then 24 hours later. It’s currently 72 hours from my first purchase, and I’m currently fighting myself to not walk over and get another pizza, even though I planned to cook🙃🥲. Thank you for opening this restaurant. Ich war bereits mehrmals vor Ort essen und habe einmal bestellt. Insgesamt hinterlässt Havel Pizza einen positiven Eindruck, auch wenn es kleinere Schwächen gibt, die man nicht verschweigen sollte.

Essen

Die Pizza ist geschmacklich hochwertig und man merkt, dass hier mit guten Zutaten gearbeitet wird. Der Teig ist ausgezeichnet, der Belag allerdings manchmal etwas sparsam – besonders in Anbetracht der gehobenen Preise (zwischen 14 und 18 Euro). Bei diesen Preisen erwartet man eine gewisse Großzügigkeit beim Belag.

Einige Pizzakreationen wirken authentisch und originell, andere hingegen nicht. Ein Beispiel: Die Pizza Carbonara – geschmacklich gelungen, aber mit gestocktem Ei eher ein Fauxpas aus italienischer Sicht. Wer Pasta erwartet, wird enttäuscht – Pasta Carbonara steht gar nicht auf der Karte, obwohl alle Zutaten vorhanden wären. Schade.

Bestellung

Bei einer Bestellung wurde leider mehrere wirkich verbrannte Pizza geliefert. Sowas kann passieren, hätte aber bei der Endkontrolle auffallen müssen.

Service

Der Service ist unbeständig. An guten Tagen erlebt man freundlichen Kontakt, etwa mit dem (vermeindlichen) Besitzer persönlich. An anderen Tagen wartet man trotz weniger Gäste über 20 Minuten auf Getränke - auch mal ganz ohne Begrüßung oder Speisekarte. Das trübt das Erlebnis deutlich.

Vorspeisen & Desserts

Die Vorspeisen sind meiner Meinung nach zu teuer, vor allem wenn unklar ist, wie viel man dafür bekommt (z. B. wie viele Brotscheiben beim Bruschetta). Das erschwert das Teilen mit mehreren Personen. Die Desserts hingegen sind geschmacklich überzeugend und Einschätzbar.

Ambiente

An warmen Sommertagen ist die Aussicht wirklich schön. Die Bestuhlung könnte jedoch bequemer sein – sie lädt nicht gerade zum längeren Verweilen ein. Das wäre kein größeres Problem, wenn der Service auch nach Hauptgang und einem Getränk weiter präsent wäre - ist er aber leider nicht immer.

Fazit: Havel Pizza bietet qualitativ gutes Essen mit kleinen Schwächen in der Authentizität (nicht negativ) und im Service (negativ). Wer bereit ist, etwas mehr zu zahlen, bekommt in der Regel eine gute Pizza in schöner Lage. Wenn der Service konstanter wird und Details mehr Beachtung finden, ist hier locker eine 5-Sterne-Erfahrung möglich.
