Ars Vini — Restaurant in Berlin

The waiters was super unfriendly. Got my name wrong, when I repeated it she got grumpy. The tables for two are super small and the elderly couple next to us was permanently watching us and listening to us, even while ordering.and they laughed when my boyfriend ordered in German (he is learning German)..so starting from this it wasn't going to be the best dinner..I expected a Fondue like you eat in France..but no. My Swiss fondue tasted only like garlic, no cheese taste whatsoever, and the gorgonzola fondue didn't have any taste neither, besides spinach..let's come to the wine..there is 4 different red wines to choose from and the Primitivo was good, as was the bread we got with the fondue..beware that in the menu the fondue is huge! We had each one and could have had shared one. It would be enough. Ah yeah, after the main dish, the nothing special fondue, It was standing on our table for good 45min before any waiters wanted to look in our direction to come clean our table and bring us dessert..The brownie tasted good tho. So yeah. There is some stuff that is friendly and those were male waiters when we visited, but the woman was a no go as service. I was deeply disappointed and will never go there again. I wouldn't recommend. You can spend your money in a better place and especially on a better fondue, cuz what we are it's a shame to...

It has been a while since ive been to such a bad restaurant. I don't know where to start. Every thing was bad so I guess ill start form the beginning. Ask for a tea and get water with leafs. Send it back and you will be charged for it.... water with a leaf... The experience might not be as horrifying is the service wasent so pathetic. At no point I was told that everything i ordered was gonna be swimming in oil and me cooking it. If you like to have oil for dinner with a little cheese go ahead. Never has a wine place been so bulgar, if they dont spill it you are lucky. The glass will be filled to the rim so be aware that this is a none hand shaking restaurant! Horrible. Please bring cash so you dont have to walk 5 blocks to find money to pay for something you should have been payed for. This is a...

The place is very nice and the food very tasty! But there are serious issues with how impolite is the service. They suggested us to order much more food than you could consumed and they reacted in an impolite way because we didn't (two time). But our biggest surprise came we had to pay. The waiter didn't return 7euros of change. In the beginning we really thought he forgot it but when I went to the cashier to ask about it, another waiter answered me "we are ok" and another "so what do you want"!!!! I am sorry guys but its up to the customer to leave you tips (if your service is good) and with behaviours like that you don't worth a penny!!! Btw, its not possible to pay with a card. In a restaurant that you should expect to spend at least 100 euros for two people you can say it...
