KAP FRIDA — Restaurant in Berlin

In my opinion, the prices are a bit high for what you get, likely due to the limited competition in Stralau. I had a meal with falafel which was ok to say the most.

The staff is friendly and welcoming, but I’ve noticed that the owner often appears stressed. On a few occasions, I’ve seen him correct employees in front of guests, sometimes a bit more sternly than might be ideal, which can impact the overall vibe in Kap Frida when he is there. However he is professional. Takes his job seriously. That being said, I understand the challenges of running a business, and it's clear that the pressure can be intense.

Despite this, the ambiance is pleasant and family-oriented. The back area is especially nice for families, providing a space where children can play. Coffee is heavy acidic . Only 1 type is served.

Fruit shake is served in a cappuccino paper cup. Bakery stuff are ok. No distinct characteristic taste that would make you wanna go back.

I visited today and was impressed by its minimalistic design and welcoming atmosphere🤍 Coffee and cake were delicious; I tried the almond-strawberry meringue cake, while my friend tried bagel and was also satisfied. They also have a lunch menu starting from 11.30 am. Prices are above average, but acceptable. Cake was 4.90€, which is more or less normal but cappuccino was 4.20€ and latte 4.90€, I found them a bit expensive. The lovely terrace was perfect for a long stay. They are also laptop-friendly and have a dedicated space with electric sockets. What stood out most was the thoughtful inclusion of a kid's corner with toys, books and a changing station and a small sink for children in the bathroom. This makes it also a perfect spot for parents, I'll definitely be back with my daughter!

I used to visit this place for work or lunch every week but the quality is getting worst every time. Unfortunately will not be going there anymore due to this and many other reasons…
