Kobani — Restaurant in Berlin

I gave this place many tries but every time it was a massive disappointment. Not only it is overpriced, but also quite disgusting.

The first time I ordered halloumi durum. The cheese was more like rubber and it was super dry and scarce in sauce. I thought to myself - it happens. As it’s the only fast food spot in this area, I gave it another try. The Döner was horrible, with cheap meat tasting like cardboard. Like it was not enough, I decided to give them the third chance and tried falafel durum, and what did I receive? Dry and cold substance that is not even close to be worth what you pay for it and can be barely called falafel at all. They did not even warm it up.

All the positive reviews must be from people who were really drunk and hungry, as there are a lot of clubs and bars around.

Now, even hangover and in great despair, my feet won’t step in this place ever again, unless they start respecting their customers and actually make food and not try to...

Dish sizes are embarrassing, 12 EUR for a tiny plate with roughly 50gram of meat, and then another 1.5 EUR for extra Hummus and got less than a spoon of hummus. Not worth visiting regardless circumstances, which is pity as the food is not that bad, but without the bread you definitely...

The sauces are really tasty as well as the falafel. However, the portion sizes are tiny compared to the prices. I ordered a vegetarian mix plate. I got one tiny piece of halloumi and one tiny falafel. Similar shops give you at least 3 falafel and 5 pieces of halloumi for less money....
