Dinner at La Laconda, Adlersof!

The owner/Chef greeted us warmly and provided us with recommendations when asked. He even suggested getting the Truffle Pasta, which was not on the menu!

My wife had the Truffle Pasta, daughter had the Linguine Scampi (Shrimp Pasta) and I had the Saltimbocca alla Romana (veal that has been wrapped with prosciutto and sage, and then marinated in wine, oil, or saltwater)

We were given a complementary plate of Bruschetta and a bread basket as well. Both gone in a couple of minutes!

Everything was delicious and perfectly seasoned!

My daughter even ordered the Pannacotta for dessert and it was the bomb!

We had a lovely dinner at La Locanda , Adlershof. The service was really nice and helpful. Atmosphere of the restaurant was warm and cozy. Late dining is available. The complimentary bruschetta was spot on . The dish of the day pasta with fresh shrimp was really delicious, the shrimps were fresh , pasta was homemade and cooked al dente . sauce was well seasoned , not to salty . The steak with cognac cream sauce was also scrumptious. The waitor forgot to ask us how we would like the steak to be cooked so it was just a little but to overdone to our taste but the taste overall was still good. Good fresh beer. Great atmosphere, friendly service, delicious authentic Italian food and very fair prices. My husband and I have eaten there several times and the food and service have been great each time.

It's a family-owned business and everyone there from the Chef to the waiters are lovely. The Chef was happy to make some changes to one of the meals to make it lactose-free.

A dish I recommend for pasta-lovers is Linguine de la Chef. Linguini served with red sauce, cherry tomatoes, sundried tomatoes, rocket leaves, olives and parmesan; my favourite dish so far.
