Delicious pho – but service and prices could be better

This place doesn’t look like much from the outside, but the food is truly good. I usually come for the pho – warm, rich in flavour, and always satisfying. My usual order is pho with beef (Rindfleisch), a Coke, and crispy fried shrimp. It has become a little tradition to stop by after parties or late-night events – nothing beats a hot bowl of soup at night.

It’s not fancy, but the place is clean and has a kind of simple charm.

However, there are some downsides. The service is friendly, but very slow. I often have to wait quite a while just to place my order or get the bill – and today, even after I finished eating, no one came to check for at least 15 minutes. It felt like I was invisible, even though it was obvious I was done.

Also, the pricing doesn’t always make sense. A glass of Coca-Cola cost 5.90 – honestly, I’ve paid less in some high-end restaurants. (shrimps were 7.50 for comparison) The place is not in a tourist area, so the prices feel a bit random and too high for what it is.

Still, I keep coming back for the pho. But with no expectations for...

Es tut mir sehr Leid und leider ist es sehr schade gewesen gestern noch an meinem Geburtstag mit meiner Mutter hier her zu kommen, worauf ich mich eigentlich sehr freute aber dann doch eine solche Enttäuschung für uns beide war!?:( Eigentlich besuchte ich die Lokalität seit über 10 Jahren regelmäßig, damals noch Thailändische Küche sehr lecker & günstig oft auch nur mit meiner alten Nachbarin auf ein Mittagslunch eine große Suppe für Sie nur 5€ und für mich ein Entengericht für unter 10€ naja das war mal!?;) Nun ja also seit Neueröffnung des Vietnamesischen Lokals war ich auch hier die letzten Jahre bis zum Lockdown noch viel & oft sehr gut essen und es war immer gut & lecker eine Freude mit Freunden & Familie immer alles bestens und Preis Leistung auch okay! Aber nun leider wohl nicht mehr so!? Das Lokal war bis Anfang Oktober aus technischen Grund geschlossen!? Besitzer Wechsel!? Die Karte kaum lesbar beim dunklen Ambiente und kaum Licht auch sehr klein abgespeckt die neue Karte!? Kein Sushi mehr im Angebot!? Doppelte Preise!? Die große Suppe zuletzt noch 5,90€ nun 11,90€!? Entengericht 14,90€!? Ich entschied mich für Huhn gegrillt mit Reisnudeln und Erdnusssauce aber bekam nur leider Curry Kokos Sauce was eher eine Suppe war zu viel & dünn das Fleisch nicht lang & gut gegrillt auch nicht viel aber labberige Reisnudeln dafür viel eher eine Nudelsuppe im Trog!? Frisches Gemüse mußte man suchen bissl Ruccola sonst nicht viel mehr auch keine Erdnuss!? Ich konnte und wollte auch nicht mehr alles, mir fielen ständig die Nudeln unschön in die Suppe:( glaube wenn ich mein Leibgericht saftig frische Ente auf Reis & Gemüse und einer Mango bzw. Erdnusssauce bestellt hätte wäre es wohl auch nicht mehr besser geworden!? Ich wies dem halbwegs gut sprechend netten Kellner auf das Problem hin und erklärte Ihm, dass ich nicht glücklich war über das falsche Gericht und die Sauce aber mehr als Ausreden kam dann leider auch nicht und ich bezahlte beide Gerichte auch mit Tip glatt 20€ Meine Mutter als Seniorin hatte nur eine kleine Vorspeise für 6,90€ zwei gefüllte Rollen mit undefiniert Faden Dressing und war auch nicht sonderlich glücklich und das war leider sehr schade und ob ich nochmals das Restaurant besuchen werde eher wohl nicht mehr!? They made us pay €10 more than the list price of what we ordered. So, we ordered a pho which was listed at €11.9 and the 106 which was listed as €14.9 but when the bill arrived we paid €35.50. I only realized after the fact, that we got scammed or maybe it was a honest mistake but yeah being overcharged by about €10 is not nice!!

Also the Pho was not as good as I've had before. The broth wasn't flavorful and the meat was a bit too thick and was already cooked instead of getting cooked in the broth. The 106 was,...
