It is very bad service, today 31 I ordered the following food, 1 x trüffelfritten, 1 x knoblauchmayo and 1 x Erntedank menu. but the delivery I received was two small boxes of fritten (fried chips) which was not what I ordered. Try to call the following no. , a few times but only voice note and instruction to leave a message. I took a taxi to Peter Pane which cost me 15 euros. After, being for hours at the hospital today . When I got to Peter Pane I asked for the manager. It was a female who came to me and said that she is the manager. I explained to her : “ I showed her the slip and said here is what I ordered “ and gave her the bag with the food to show her that it’s the wrong food. Then she replied by saying that I took the wrong order and I must pay for this before I can get my food that I ordered. I replied by saying I did not take the wrong order , it was you guys who delivered the wrong food to me. I immediately tried to contact you guys but no answer so I decided to come to Peter Pane. At this time she called the owner, my description of him is an overweight person , bald headed with a blond beard. He pushed me until one of the box of fritten fell out of my hand. My reaction to him : I said please stay far from me, two meters from me. He then told me to get out of the restaurant . I through the other box of chips on the floor and went outside. He and two others followed me outside. As they pushed me , I feel they wanted to fight with me. Other customers came outside as well , saying they don’t want to eat here because they saw what happened and telling the manager he is in the wrong the way he was treating me. The manager called the police. There was about four police cars. I spoke to the police . The police told me I must go inside and clean up the mess or I have to pay for the cleaning. But the owner said no it’s ok, they forgive me. So I left. I just wanted to share my story, think twice before ordering from Peter...
Read moreWe, with my girlfriend, came to this restaurant on Reformation Day that is a public holiday in the whole Germany this year. Their menu offered a combo dinner on Sundays and Holidays ("Sonntag und Feiertag until 5p.m."). On 4:30 we tried to order it. But the waiter refused to take the order because of... no reason. They just don't take this order. The waiter blamed the management: the restaurant somehow decided that Reformation Day does not count as public holiday. Komisch. I didn't see any justification for breaking the conditions of public offering.
The whole place is pretentious, but not satisfactory. Expensive design goes with uncomfortable seats where you have to bother neighbors to settle.
Moreover, it was uncomfortable to see and be near their stuff for my girlfriend. Some of them are lax and look more like face control muscleman beef, others are speedy and look at you only as a cash cow for tips.
Food was decent, though. We tried burgers, beer and chocolate. Meat has taste and offered in three grades of roast. Bun is average, not especially tasty. I ate burgers twice tastier for half price. Also in Berlin. Standard beer. Chocolate is made from chocolate drops, not Nesquick. That is rare and cool.
Plus for the chef. Huuuuge minus for the service personnel...
Read moreGreat food! I had my doubts about a restaurant located inside of a mall at first but my expectations where blown out of the water! My partner and me aren't particularly fluent in German but the staff was patient and polite and spoke English. The menu was also available in English but you needed to have a smartphone that could scan a QRcode. The decor made.me feel like I was in an amusement park because we where looking at a huge (fake?) Building and behind us was a plastic tree. The prices where mostly fair although I do think 5 bucks for a soft drink is a bit steep. Then again, I don't know what other restaurants around here charge so I can't really blame this one. All in all I had a GREAT meal and the staff treated us nice so it was a...
