Thai-Nippon Sushi-Bar — Restaurant in Berlin

Unhelpful staff. Extreme wait times. Mediocre food. Infuriating experience. Lack of human decency.

Ordered normal maki rolls and fried salmon rolls so she told me it could take a little longer. This is normal as they obviously have to then cook the sushi so I had no problem with that. After an hour of waiting (way longer than usual) and watching countless other people get their food, I finally asked where my food is. The cashier informed me that the sushi chef is on his way and isn't here yet.

I am furious. She didn't even have the decency to tell me my order wouldn't start being prepared for an hour. If I had known that before I could've eaten somewhere else. But no instead she took my money and left me here to starve.

My 2 friends ordered pretty common things, spring rolls and chicken skewers with peanut sauce. These took 45minutes to come out for no reason. Many other people were served before us and received their food quickly. The whole time we were waiting the staff entirely ignored us. Once it finally came it was very unremarkable and the chicken was cold.

Service is extremely slow it took 1 hour to make basic sushi dishes, because when we ordered she said that it could take a bit longer but of course she did not mention that the chef that makes the sushi was literally not in the building yet but on the way to work. The Indian place right next door has amazing service and good food so if you have a choice go there, if not just go to the supermarket downstairs there at least you can be sure that you’ll actually get something to eat.
