Just finished eating there not a while ago. One of the worst experiences ever. When i entered, i asked to eat there only if i could charge my phone and use the wifi since im backpacking ( they said in beginning that they dont give their wifi password. Weird. But i told them ill have to eat in a place that gives and they agreed) The waiter was kind and the food was not bad. After 20 min of eating i asked for some more olives (my pizza came with a small portion of olives on the side). After a few minutes i got more than the original portion and i was very thankful, i thought they were being nice to me seeing im a solo backpacker. Some time passed and i asked for the check. It came and i saw a charge for 2.5 euro extra. They charged me for the olives apparently, without telling me. One would think that like everyplace, especially if a tourist that doesnt speak the language comes to, the waiter will explain things but it didnt not happen and i was informed (in a rude manner) that on the menu , written on the bottom in small german font (i speak english) that extra things cost 2.5 euro. Unfortunately i didnt know that and the 2nd waiter who spoke only german (i didnt know that since he just understood i said olives and brought me more) didnt tell me its extra charge. After tries of me explaining them the problem, the owner came with an angry demeanor and aggressively to me and his poor waiters and they tried explaining to him the problem and when i joined the conversation, he did an unaprropriate hand gesture of me talking to much. He said i ate and got wifi and electricity for phone charging and beer ( which i ordered) and im acting like that (wifi and phone charging is complementary in every restaurant i went to). In the end, after 15 min, i didn't pay for the olives and he said he wants me to pay for the original order and leave immediately. I went out and he cursed me in german outside and did threatening hand...
Read moreWe went to this pizzeria yesterday. Ordered two pizzas, they were ok. Not the best I’ve ever eaten but still ok with thin dough. Normal I’d say.
What I didn’t like: the interior design, really old-fashioned, but if it’s ok for you - go for it. I like when owners make some effort though.
We found out they accept only cash when we wanted to pay. The waiter answered that it’s stated when you enter the place but to be honest it’s so not obvious, some A4 paper hanging somewhere stating that accept only cash. They should put a visible sign on a door or remind the guests about it before ordering. It was really a disappoint for me, I had to go search for a bankomat which took quite a high commission in the end. And, honestly, I prefer places which are in the 21st century. I want an option to pay with a card. And no, it’s probably not temporarily not accepted, they don’t accept it at all as I found out from other complaints from before. The reason I won’t come to this place again.
The waiter didn’t bring back 2€. Ok, it’s not much, normally I’d always leave it as a tip but I expect to get it back and this time I was annoyed and didn’t want to leave the tip but they decided for me.
Sorry,...
Read moreWe went to Ledi as a huge group from the winter holidays camp and I honestly thought that we'd end up in some gross low-key restaurant, but, boy, was I wrong! When we arrived, I was hit by the smell of pizza dough and I was amazed by beautiful furniture and style of that place. The workers looked very friendly, they placed us in the garden at the back of pizzeria and immediately started getting to us our drinks. After I think 15 minutes 1/4 of our group get their pizzas. Food was delicious, quickly served and the amazing atmosphere in that place... I highly recommend Ledi to everyone...
