Polnisches Bistro Berlin — Restaurant in Berlin

Hard to say, it's between 3 and 4. Taste of food is close to polish home standards but there are things which can be done better for sure. Kluski śląskie were to watery, the most interesting was piece of meat which looked like *. Literally, look on the photo, I'm sorry for that. Rice in Kohlrolade was cooked to long and there should be more meat inside. Beetroot soup was good in taste but it color was a little bit to purple so I'm guessing that there was inside some food-color chemicals. Beside of this everything was very propper and close to polish tastes but I guess in Poland it wouldn't be a very good restaurant. I'm not saying that it's very bad, but funny, when you are waiting on food you can hear the sound of microwave. Look of the place is a bit sad, it needs a little bit more life. Stuff is very nice. That's why I'm sad when I write not only positive sides of this place. Magda Gessler would say a big "no no" for this place 😂. Huge plus is that they have typical polish supplies. I strongly advise against eating there. I was quite embarrassed because I went there with my boyfriend (who is not Polish) and I wanted to introduce him to polish cuisine. The food was greasy and I had a stomachache afterwards - and I'm really not a very sensitive person.

I was expecting something more authentic however, we just ended up being really disappointed. We were served with ready-made reheated dishes. (I am genuinely convinced that the sauce I ate it was an instant sauce). I don't know why people open a restaurant/bistro if they don't have the intention of cooking themselves.

Dieses kleine Bistro ist etwas versteckt in einem Einkaufszentrum gelegen und hat gleichzeitig auch eine Fleischtheke, Kuchentheke und ein paar regale mit osteuropäischen Produkten. Aber es wird hier auch frisch zubereitete polnische Hausmannskost serviert.

Man hat drei kleine Tische, an denen man sitzen kann. Die Bedienung hat etwas schlecht gelaunt gewirkt, war aber trotzdem freundlich zu mir. In der einen oder anderen Bewertung wurde die Sauberkeit bemängelt - konnte ich so nicht bestätigen, bei meinem Besuch war alles sauber.

Es gibt eine ganz nette Auswahl an Gerichten, die es teilweise auch in verschiedenen Varianten gibt - Pierogi kann man zum Beispiel mit drei unterschiedlichen Füllungen und jeweils gebraten oder gekocht haben. Ich hatte gebratene Pierogi mit Sauerkraut und Champignon Füllung. Darauf gab es gebratene Zwiebeln und als Beilage so eine Art Coleslaw, aber mit Rotkraut. Für die Piegrogi gab es noch Schmand dazu.
