Rangla Punjab — Restaurant in Berlin

Visited Rangla Punjab for dinner on a Saturday evening. Their chole masala and bhattura were really tasty. Also had a cheese naan, which was really good. Their breads carry the flavor of fermentation and I really enjoyed it.

Staff were friendly for the most part, however, when I asked if they could replace the rice with a bread they seemed so doubtful and hesitant. I know that rice is usually the accompaniment, but not everyone eats rice. I think you should be more willing to give a customer a replacement of their choice. But, at the end, no complaints besides the strange feeling that I asked for something out of the normal. The same staff member was friendly throughout the rest of my dining there, I believe he was just not used to such a request.

I ordered Chilli panner and got chilli chicken. The staff are so unfriendly. They said it is not their problem that I got chilli chicken instead of chilli panner( I follow vegetarian diet). One of worst experience with food. I would have zero stars, but unfortunately google doesn’t allow. Improvement of customer service is very needed.

Update: I got my money back for Chilli panner which I ordered. When I went to today the person was very rude and asked me to delete the review I wrote. He was very insensitive of other person’s religious beliefs. It is high time that they understand, there are people still who follow diet restrictions laid out. Loved every bit of Rangla Punjab. The place is super clean. The staff are damn friendly and they customize and make food so well.

To begin with, we had mango lassi out of which one was complimentary. The lassi was very tasty. Then, we ordered paneer Tikka and chole bhature(bhatura + channa masala) which was tasty as well as filling. For takeaway, I ordered chicken Tikka which I loved throughout. We even received chai as a complimentary.

I must admit, the people who run the restaurant are friendly, treated us with utmost care and respect and sent us with tummy full. This place doesn't receive a lot of customers hence, I'd urge y'all to give this...
