Must visit place if you are around Rohrdamm.

We visited this place around 2nd week of Jun17. I am a vegetarian so the food choices were limited for me. But to my amazement the food served was too delicious and tasty. Do not expect food with lots of masala i.e. mix of different spices which are used extensively in Indian food. My friends were eating non veg and they liked it.

I had Onion Soup and it was so awesome that I am yearning to have it in Hyderabad. I have figured out a place in Hyderabad but not sure if it is the same kind of soup they serve there.

Our primary purpose was to have a different type of beer at a different places. The service was surely very good. The place is not that big but they could accommodate quite a lot of people. We saw many older locals visiting this place and enjoying too.

Overall I would say a must visit place. I have uploaded some pics taken there of the food...

Es gibt sie noch, das Restaurant mit Kneipe! Der erste Bereich hat Kneipencharakter, der hintere Bereich war schön eingedeckt. Wir blieben gleich vorn, wurden vom Wirt begrüßt, ein cooler Typ. Die Speisekarte ist sehr umfangreich mit lecker klingenden Gerichten der bürgerlichen Küche. Wir entschieden uns für die Berliner Currywurst mit Pommes, Bratkartoffeln mit Brathering und das Farmeromelette mit Waldpilzsauce. Beim Omelette musste ich meiner Frau helfen, war eine ganz schöne Portion! Die drei Essen waren sehr lecker und sehr schmackhaft. An der Currysauce kann man noch arbeiten, die geht bestimmt besser. Die Preise sind voll oK ! Zum Abschluss gab’s noch einen Schnaps und einen Espresso für den Fahrer. Alles in allem ein voller Erfolg, war sehr schön. Nach 1 1/2 Jahren konnten wir hier wieder einkehren. Das Ambiente war sehr gut, es war sehr ordentlich überall weiße Tischdecken. Die Speisekarte war neu und bot eine große Auswahl an Speisen. Wir aßen Farmer Omelett und Labskaus. Beides große Portionen und sehr lecker. ( etwas mehr Cornedbeef hätte dem Labskaus gut getan). Die Bedienung war sehr gut ! Super cozy Deutsch Pub. You can try different beers here, have fantastic food all for reasonable prices. They also serve seasonal food.
