If I were to just rate the pizzas, I would give it a five without a doubt because they are truly very delicious (both the dough and the interesting topings). I also enjoyed that they offer tap water. However, the service and the location were not great. I am happy I was sitting outside and I ate before coming in, because the place and the toilet are, blunty said, simply not clean. The menu is torn and greasy, the toilet, windows, and floors REALLY need a scrub. They did not clean our table before bringing our food....For the sake of the reader, I will not describe the bin next to the toilet. Regarding the service, it was slow, unccordinated, and chaotic. And I live in Berlin, so my expectations when it comes to service are rather low. The waiters were completely disregarding the order of arrival of clients that were waiting (I saw it happen 3 times) and not rearraging the tables properly. We were even accussed of taking someone's spot by one waiter after another waiter sat us at that table and were asked to stand up again. This all would have been solved with better communication and keeping a list of the order of arrivals so all waiters were on the same page, truly a pity. For me the experience has to be just as good as the food, so I doubt I will come again. The prices were rather cheap, I would have willingly paid more if the service had been better and the...

Delicious food but horrible service. The restaurant was totally disorganised. We understand that it was a Sunday evening and super crowded. BUT they forgot our tagliatelle and we only had the table for one hour, so they should’ve forward the pasta but instead send us away from the table.. at least don’t charge the pizza as an excuse!!

Dear Sotto-Team, thank you for your prompt answer. I can’t answer on your comment so I just write it here. I totally agree on you, misunderstandings can happen. The problem was not that the tagliatelle didn’t come. It was more about how it has been solved in the end. We wanted to leave and asked for the bill, waited another 20min for it. Then the waiter came to tell us „hey you need to leave now the other people are coming“ which wasn’t effective at all as we were already waiting for the bill or were we misunderstood twice that it wasn’t sure that we want the bill? Anyways, I appreciate your time and answer and wish you a...

Sotto is a hipster vegan restaurant in up and coming Wedding in Berlin. The food is delicious and clearly the chef has shown attention to detail in both presentation and taste. Sadly the service is lacking. As we arrived we had to go looking for the waiter to get her to seat us at our table. There was little communication and she managed to bring the main courses before clearing the empty plates from the starter. After we had finished dinner she never came back. We found her eating at a table leaving us without anyone to wait on us. As we paid several items where missing from the bill. Luckily we are honest people and informed the person. Besides that the chairs are quite hard and uncomfortable. During the whole meal I was focused on trying to sit in a comfortable position. It is definitely a place worth going to and with some adjustments it can be a...

I was very happy excited to try this new place and the overall experience was nice however, pizza is weirdly shaped, pooooor toppings, I mean, it’s not truffle that I asked for, it’s aubergine so try to be more generous especially when i ask no tomato sauce, also I got frowned upon when I said No Parsley....cmon...parsley on pizza??? Every pizza has it, it’s yuck... and to end the coffee was brought with no sugar whatsoever, they did not even asked me if I wanted it. Price is ok and cake was delicious but it’s just an average place, sorry. Also, a suggestion, can you try and offer more “normal” vegan pizzas ? Like vegan Margherita? There’s NO pizza in Italy with pesto on in so why do you insist on putting it anywhere? Maybe cause the almond cheese you offer is not so nice after all? I don’t know...I had better vegan pizzas in the past.

Huge disappointment. We ordered two vegan and two vegetarian pizzas. The dough was very good but the taste… not existing. Vegan pizzas had no flavour, the were bland despite a lot of ingredients. Green pesto tasted like defrosted spinach without salt, nut “cheese” was very runny and watery (as you can see on the picture - it’s a sauce, not “cheese”) and also lacked salt. Same with carrot - boiled carrot with no salt. Vegetarian pizzas were a bit better, cause cheese is salty and has more flavour, but also - overall it tasted like it has 50% of the taste it was supposed to have. We were so surprised that so many ingredients put together can have such little taste!!! We were really hungry but didn’t manage to finish the pizzas. It was like a newborn food :(

Lovely place with creative vegan pizzas. I had the vegan capriossa and the vegan diavola. The Diavola was the better one, the smoky carrots and spicy chilli oil made it a good vegan rendition of the original which is usually with spicy salami, I think. I’m not too sure about the almond cream, it’s kinda nice and creamy but not really the best cheese replacement I think. Minus one star because the crust was too burnt because the restaurant was way too packed. Probably come on a less busy day to get the most out of the kitchen. Service staff were lovely.
