Sushi and Friends — Restaurant in Berlin

Rarely do you have a restaurant in the suburbs outside the ring having 4.7 stars in over 1200 reviews. This restaurant is indeed worth the rating. I don't have a Japanese friend to tell me what qualifies as good sushi. But after having tried all sushi restaurants in my neighbourhood, when I first ate here 2 years ago, I immediately realised that this is quality stuff. Lots of sushi set options for a competent price with miso soup and unlimited ginger ;-) Service is fast and waiters are friendly.

The owner, Trung, and his crew run a tip-top operation—good people, passionate about what they do, and focused on giving you an experience. • Monday: Open buffet. If you don’t book after 5 p.m., don’t expect to just walk in. I tried—my bad. • Wednesday: Buy-one-get-one-free. Sounds tacky, but it works. We couldn’t get a table on Monday (arrived 40 mins before 5 p.m.), so I grabbed a €30 takeaway for my 10-year-old. Came back Wednesday and we ate like kings and queens for €48 total—added a few extras (miso soup, Sprite, jasmine tea). Trung spotted us, thanked us for returning, asked for feedback, and introduced himself. Class.

For me, it's one of the best places for having sushi. What I really like is the big varaity with also no standard types of Nigiri and Maki. Fair prices, perfect quality and frequent Promotion days with special offer (2 for one, open buffet, check online days of the week with this Promos). A clear recommendation.
