It is, as the spaniard that I am, the best experience I have had in Germany up until this point: good food, typical Greek/Mediterranean table manners and service, as for example the little detail of making sure there was always enough bread on the table. There are other places that are also really good and have their unique touch. But this place... how the owner waits tables and gets everyone to laugh with simple jokes. How there wasn't a single piece of food that wasn't delicious and how they made sure you were having the best experience possible. Just priceless.
The kind of service and feeling you get after eating here is comparable to other restaurants that cost 5 times as much and are considered "fancy" restaurants. Ambiente: Das rettet ein Punkt. Es war ein Nebenzimmer mit Kamin und war dekoriert mit allerhand altem Zeug: Nähmaschinen, Puppen etc. Schräg, aber mal was anderes. Man saß an schönen alten Holztischen. Das Essen: Und hier gibts massive Punktverluste. Ich esse beim Griechen immer Gyros. In diesem Restaurant war das Gyros „alle“. Kein Gyros. Samstag. 20 Uhr. Absurd. Dafür wurden uns allerhand andere Speisen, die nicht auf der Speisekarte waren, angepriesen. Ohne Preisangaben. Vorspeise: Ca. 11 Euro für einen Vorspeisenteller, der fast ausschließlich aus Fertigprodukten bestand. Kulinarisch unterirdisch und frech. Der Zwischensalat entsprach dem Standard. Hauptgang: Souvlaki. Fleisch sehr gut. Backkartoffeln gehüllt in unnötiges Fett und geschmacksneutral. Tsatsiki: WOW! Ich gehe fest davon aus, dass das Fertigware war. What a restaurant…Rustic decoration, with delicious and very well prepared food!
I visited this space with a group of 5 people and we ended up ordering several dishes, ending up becoming a tasting which ended with a delicious dessert.
