Small restaurant nearby the metro station, just few minutes away by foot. The restaurant is very cozy and nice, they have this big window that they can open up to freshen the ambient. The food was amazing, we got a vegetarian soup and a beef soup both with fufu. They brought us a bowl with cold water to help eating the fufu. The dishes were flavorful and tasty, and the fufu was really good. We also got the pan fried platanos as a side dish and the contrast between sweet and salty was spot on. The owner and the waiter were really nice and kind. Being only two people working there it took a little while to get the order, but it was no problem for us. Really recommend this place if you are in Berlin and want to try real African food.

There's little African food in Berlin and less that feels at least authentic. Needless to say I feel like I've gotten an authentic food experience here. Always a good sign if native people eat and hangout there. I ordered cow legs or something and got a dish I would never have expected to get in Germany. It had lots of skin and fat and was a bit chewy. Which I personally don't dislike. With fufu that was cooked to an incredibly perfect degree. Only drawback was that it took a while to arrive but everything good needs time right. Would recommend this spot for people looking for a nice authentic experience. Has vegan option available. It's a bit tight tho and usually full on days you feel like going.

I don't even know how to rate this place. I would love to give it a higher note, because of a respect for the culture but the food which we had was completely not our taste. We waited for our dishes for more than an hour (definitely a bit too long but we weren't in a rush so we didn't complain). Ogusi soup wasn't our taste but it was acceptable. BUT okra soup was just horrible - taste, smell, consistency, everything was bad. We love to try new things but this was beyond the level. At the end we ate one dish on half. And went out hungry but without a will to eat further because of the aftertaste of okra. I'm upset that I have to rate it like that but any other rate wouldn't be honest.

The visit started with a warning. “ It takes time. Do you have time ?” And little did he know he really meant it. It takes a while to get your order taken down and for the food to arrive. After all the restaurant service seems to be handled by a brother and a sister. We got the jollof rice with fish and the peanut butter sauce with meat and fufu. The staff was very nice and explained the dishes and also warned us about our initial choice since it’s not for all palates so we decided to go with their recommendations. While the fish was delicious the rice took the spotlight of the dish. It was deliciously seasoned and you couldn’t get enough of it. Every bite was a trip of flavors. The fufu was absolutely delicious and the peanut sauce was to beg for more. While it takes a few minutes to get used to eating hot fufu with your hand the experience somehow enhances the enjoyment of the food. The fried plantain was *chefs kiss *

The atmosphere of the restaurant is loud and lively. Made me feel at home since it reminded me of Sunday barbecues at home with loud music and loud conversations. Everything feels very homely. It’s not a place to sit get your food and leave under 30 minutes but a place to sit, wait, order, eat and enjoy every flavor of the dish you ordered and talk with whoever you came to the restaurant with. Also the staff was very engaging and talkative which made everything very enjoyable. Truly feels you are eating at their home and I can’t wait to go again and try more...

The name suits, it was some next level disappointment. We waited 1 hour and 50 minutes for the food (already cleaning the table took 40 minutes). The restaurant was chaotic, tables not clean, ppl standing all around. Food super disappointing, my curry style dish was just the sauce (better say 70% sauce and and the rest was a layer of oil on top) without any vegetables inside. The other dish was not our taste, can happen. The reason we did not say anything right away is that we felt they are not in charge of the situation and did not want to wait an other 1 hour 50 minutes for a new dish. Just no! The guy in the end at least apologised and wanted to give back 5 euros... huge disappointment. The restaurant has potential but they need...

The food was good and the staff was friendly, but service was overall bad, they were clearly overwhelmed by the amount of clients. We had dinner, the place was full and people kept coming in. Once you arrive there was nobody to sit you or to tell you “sorry, we are very busy, you can wait if you want” or “sorry, we cannot sit you”, instead you were ignored standing in the middle of the restaurant. Waiting time was very long at all times: sitting, ordering, getting the food and paying. Staff was nice and friendly when you did get to talk to them, but they where clearly overworked and needed at least one more employee in their team. Maybe someone was sick or couldn’t go to work that evening and it could have been an unfortunate...
