Teja Lichtenberg — Restaurant in Berlin

It was a beautiful day and we’d love to have sat outside, but since we were a party of 6, we couldn’t. I’m so glad, as I wouldn’t have witnessed the interior if we had. It’s clear that the restaurant used to be a Greek one and those Greek bones were visible underneath the most hilarious efforts to make it look Indian. Painting the columns gold, coloring in the Greek maiden statue, changing a mural of the Parthenon to the Taj Majal. With every detail we noticed, we laughed harder and it was worth the visit just to see it.

The food is passable, maybe tasting a bit uniform, despite that we ordered six different dishes. But expectations weren’t high, Berlin is an awfully long way from India and the food was ok.

The service is absolutely atrocious. The waiter we had must have never tried being a waiter before, as he had absolutely no clue - he was like an Indian version of Manuel from Fawlty Towers.

Honestly, the place is worth a visit just to see the crazy decor and to experience the charming ineptness of the waiter - cross your fingers you get the...

The service is horrible. The girl who was taking order was so arrogant. Its really horrible to see the weird expressions . The chicken butter masala was tangy and soury . The butter naan seems like heating the frozen ones . All things are accepted if the behavior is good but the behavior and arrogance while taking order just made us sad . She didn't give us bill and denied accepting cards initially and told go and take out cash from ATM. Sad sad sad. Why Indians behave like this with fellow Indians??? Just spoiled our mood for the rest of the day. We are here to support Indians who are studying and working part time and also who are away from home ad working but we expect good behavior atleast. She said there is dessert with our 35 euro veg thali I attached the pic of dessert. Probably it's mango lassi I dint even taste it threw it away. I wish there is negative ratings in google. Coz you guys don't deserve even 1 rating. I am surprised seeing 4.6 rating for this type of food...

Garbage - the funniest Indian restaurant that I’ve ever been to I had my German friend with me and she made it clear that I wanted a hot, spicy curry Ordered the Vindaloo and it was vile. I mean, it was so bland

I really don’t how they managed to make it so bad. There was 7 of us and two of my ‘I don’t like curry’ both tasted it and didn’t feel any spice It was as though they managed to make the hottest thing on the menu and forgot to put any spice ….but don’t worry, their ‘fix’ was to mix in the green chilli oil (that you get with your poppadoms) - oh my….that just made it worse!

Give this place a wide birth if you like your curries; you’ll be disappointed
