Thai A Dong — Restaurant in Berlin

I live near this restaurant and had been wanting to try it for some time. I visited on a friday evening around 7pm. Our party was 2 adults and one young teen.

Almost as soon as we sat down we were given a menu, which also included a version in english which was really nice (all though the english version seemed to be missing the egg fried rice and egg noodles page).

In terms of looks the restaurant is nice, we sat outside and the tables and chairs are comfortable and spacious.

We took a while to decide, the young asian waiter was very nice and gave us some time.

I ordered the egg fried rice (Nasi-Goreng version), the egg noodles with chicken, and also some egg rolls (spring rolls).

The spring rolls were extremely good, I had never tasted this type of preparation before, they were a little spicy and had a little plate of sauce on the side which was transparent and somewhat sweet, if you ate the rolls with the sauce it changed the flavour significantly in a good way. Very very good with and without the sauce.

The experience with the rice and noodles was also very similar, amazingly good, also with a touch of spice for the Nasi-Gorent).

I would say food presentation was also great, food looks appetizing, you want to dig in as soon as it arrives.

Service was friendly and food arrived quickly.

Horrible attitude of the owner. I was in a restaurant when he, all of a sudden, started to shout on a little girl that was playing in a restaurant while her mother and her friend were eating. Later on, he was shouting on all of them to leave a restaurant. And he didn't stop for several minutes!!! Was there for the first time. Food is nothing special as well. No way I am coming...

Food is alright. I chose delivery a couple of times and dined in once. The food was very good when I ate at the restaurant, but the quality was terrible when I ordered online. I don't know why, maybe it depends on who's cooking on that day, but I think it's unfortunate if the quality of the food isn't consistently good.. it definitely drags the...
