Some very good friends and I were indulging ourselves deep into the local delights of the Rhineland Palatinate when we chanced upon this beautiful little wine garden. We were seated imminently and the anticipation and excitement flooded us all. However, as our server approached, it was clear that our elation was to come to a prompt conclusion. It would not be unfair to compare his facade with that of a Dickensian antagonist, namely Ebenezer Scrooge at the very beginning of his journey. Not only were the wines delicious, the Sommelier ensured that our experience was unforgettable.
