It's too bad there's only 5 stars. As this restaurant, Il Mattone clearly qualifies as a 5 star ++.

From the get go - being greeted at the door by the staff to Khan and his whole team - who clearly are service and customer first to the highest of quality. The unique spin on Italian cuisine is exceptional.

The meal was blended together with fresh bread, cheese-bread, fine wine, a salad with the Il Mattone salad dressing and a chicken paste main "to die for"! Out standing.

The atmosphere still quiet in a full restaurant on a Tuesday speaks volumes of the quality of food service and hospitality.

Nach langer Zeit hat auf dem Brüser Berg wieder ein neues Restaurant eröffnet, wir wohnen seit Jahren hier und besuchten den Italiener der vorher hier war sehr häufig. Es ist angenehm wenn man nicht mit dem Auto wo hin fahren muss, sondern zu fuß gehen kann. Am Anfang waren wir skeptisch und sind daher erst heute, am Samstag dort hin gegangen. Wir waren sehr angenehm überrascht, sehr angenehmes Ambiente, sehr zuvorkommendes Personal, und ein Chef, der bei allen Gästen nachfragte ob alles in Ordnung war. Essen ist halt immer eine frage des Geschmacks. Uns hat es sehr gut geschmeckt, und als wir bezahlten bekamen wir auf Anfrage noch den Tipp, das wir auch wenn es machbar ist Speisen bestellen können die so nicht auf der Karte stehen. Ich für meinen Teil esse sehr gerne Steaks mit Pfeffersoße und Pommes. Das werde ich dann beim nächsten mal bestellen. Ich freue mich...
