OZ URFA Grillhaus — Restaurant in Bremerhaven

Fantastic food. It is super tasty and reasonably priced as well. Atmosphere especially outside is great. Portions a grrat as well. BUT customer service is absolutely terrible. It takes ages until you get your food. When you want to get take-away and you walk inside you’re ignored even though there are 7 people in there working. They are chatting to each other but entirely ignore you for a few minutes. It really is strange. I get it when they are busy. But even then they could at least look at you and say „just a moment“. Additionally I have never been to a place that messes up your order this often. You tell them what sauce you want on your kebab, WHILE they are prepping it, and they still forget it. I have been there many times because like I said in the beginning the food is delicious. But the customer experience definitely...

Just walking in Bremerhaven in search for a restaurant, we came past this one. One colleague was a bit skeptical and didn't want to eat here since it was just a grillroom, but eventually we entered the place. I looked very clean and nice... Decoration was a bit cold and outdated, but hey... we were hungry... The serve no beer, but that is okay for me. The menu was extensive and we ordered our food. We got our salads which taste good, and the dish with all kinds of meat tasted really good. The sauce with it had plenty of garlic in it ;) So yes.... for a grill room , you had good food hence the 4 stars.... For a quick dinner... yes good enough.... better atmosphere will give it a 5 star in the future. Something...

Das Ambiente des Restaurants war schlicht und minimalistisch, was jedoch eher auf eine sparsame Gestaltung als auf bewusst gesetzte Akzente hindeutete. Es mangelte an Details, die das Erlebnis hätten aufwerten können.

Wir entschieden uns für den gemischten Grillteller für zwei Personen. Die Vorspeisen, die zuerst serviert wurden, waren geschmacklich sehr gelungen und zeigten hohes Potenzial. Allerdings war das begleitende Brot kalt und keineswegs knusprig, was besonders bei einem hochwertigen Vorspeisenangebot enttäuschend war. Ein einfaches Aufwärmen hätte hier den Genuss deutlich gesteigert.

Leider ließ auch der Service zu wünschen übrig. Die Kellnerin informierte uns, dass keine Lammkoteletts mehr verfügbar seien und bot eine Alternative an. Später, beim Bezahlen, fiel uns jedoch das gut gefüllte Kühlregal ins Auge, in dem sich tatsächlich noch zahlreiche Lammkoteletts befanden. Diese Inkonsistenz hinterließ bei uns ein ungutes Gefühl und trübte den Gesamteindruck erheblich.

Was das Hauptgericht betraf, gab es gemischte Eindrücke. Die Pommes waren knusprig und dünn, vergleichbar mit denen bei McDonald's, und somit durchaus gelungen. Der Reis hingegen war klebrig, fast ungenießbar und zudem lauwarm serviert. Die Lammstücke im Grillteller erwiesen sich als zäh und kaum zart, während die Hähnchenspieße in Ordnung, aber nichts Besonderes waren.

Insgesamt hatte das Essen sowohl Höhen als auch Tiefen. Die Qualität und Präsentation ließen an einigen Stellen zu wünschen übrig, und auch der Service entsprach nicht den Erwartungen. Ein enttäuschender Besuch, bei dem einfache Verbesserungen das Erlebnis entscheidend hätten...
