Thats the worst kebab we ate in a long time. When sitted I asked Margarita pizza for kids so it arrives first and they dont need to wait. Then we ordered 2 durum and a bottle of water. We specified that we want them with spicy sauce, extra chili, extra spicy pepper and feta.It was taking long time for food to be brought even though the restaurant was empty! The waitress was chatting outside with his friends in the meanwhile. When my husband looked at him seriously,he jumped and run for the food, obviously showing he forgot it.Our durum are brought and then he apologizies but he forgot the pizza of the kids(!!!).we started to eat with hungry children staring at us just to find out our durums have NONE of the ingredients we have asked! it was also cold already, durum bread half made - like chewing gum.taste was so bad, like eating something out of gas station.I called the waitress to claim the missing ingredients to which he answers “i hate my kitchen, they work bad” and offered to bring an extra plate with them.he did but it was weird to make them put in,also the spicy sauce was not spicy at all- like some smoked paprika and tomatoe sauce, disgusting.didnt expect that from Turkish.children pizza came then.small.my 6 and 3year olds stayed hungry after it and we went to a normal pizzeria to buy them a pizza afterwards!but the biggest surprice came when we saw the bill- 6,50pizza(ok),5 durum(normal price) and 5,5 water(!!!). Really? For 750ml bottle.really really disappointed, dont understand why it has so much good reviews and who eats that, but the quality is more than poor. you should try HABIB in another side of the street to know what good durum looks...
Read moreNOT even worth 1 star.. My friends and I go out and eat a lot but never did we had an experience like this one before. We also never complain or write bad reviews on restaurants, but this was just unacceptable. We made a reservation for the evening, but it took 45 min for them to even get us a proper table. First they wanted to put us on a table (which they created on the spot) in the restaurant next door like almost in their kitchen away from all the people. People were even laughing at us because we got that table. After asking many times for an other table we finally received one in the restaurant next door (still weird but we just accepted it). After that we ordered our food, but it still didn't came after 1,5 hour!!! And it really were just three plates, so not very special... We asked many many times when our food will come, but the whole time they said that it will come soon, but it never came. After that we left the restaurant. Our reservation was at 18:30 and we left the restaurant at 21:15 without anything to eat! And we didn't receive an apology or anything. I hope the restaurant will read this, so something can be done to compensate the time we wasted on...
Read moreI had the pleasure of dining at ÇÖMÇE Holzkohle Restaurant in Kleve for two nights, and it was a fantastic experience. The restaurant offers an authentic taste of Turkish cuisine, with a warm and inviting atmosphere.
Over my visits, I tried several traditional Turkish dishes, all of which were delicious and well-prepared. The grilled meats were flavorful and perfectly cooked over charcoal, adding a rich, smoky taste. The portions were generous, and the presentation was excellent.
To finish my meals, I indulged in baklava, which was simply amazing—crispy, rich, and perfectly sweet with a delightful balance of nuts and syrup. It was the perfect way to end both nights.
The service was friendly and attentive, making the experience even more enjoyable. If you're looking for high-quality Turkish food in Kleve, ÇÖMÇE Holzkohle Restaurant is definitely worth a...
