We came here on a Saturday evening at 6pm expecting it to still be open until 8 as listed on google maps. We easily found a dedicated parking lot with a decent amount of spots (at (50.1100064, 7.2405716), and followed the signs to to the restaurant. The path and outdoor patio is truly beautiful with views of the moselle river. Unfortunately we saw signs that said they were closing early at 5:30 and so we weren't able to eat there. We did go into the church, which was open but empty and very beautiful. The menu for the restaurant looked great, and the staff was friendly when I asked to confirm they weren't open anymore. Would recommend for the atmosphere and views alone! But would call ahead go make sure they are open since their listed hours...

What a blast! We had such a laugh getting there, up the...what felt like 1,000 stairs. Maybe there was 1,000 stairs. I lost track when I nearly fell over from exhaustion! Hehehe...There is probably another way to get there, but I don't know it.

As you can see from the photo provided, the views are pretty great. We absolutely loved the beer and wine. We ordered some kind of mixed appetizer thingy and were not big fans of it overall, but thought it was unique and fun.

The wind was ripping and the service was pretty lousy, but that always changes, right? I didn't even realize you could sit inside, though the large outside patio is also inviting and we usually choose to sit outside when the...

First off, the view is spectacular, and it's just a bit surreal to eating on the steps of a centuries-old church. But that's not even the best reason to go. Go for the pfifferlings! Really, the chanterelle mushrooms were excellent; I had them with the pork medallions and my girlfriend had the pfifferlings salad. And all for what I considered to be a reasonable price, at least compared to the other places we checked out in Beilstein.

I would highly recommend...
