Badmaash — Restaurant in Cologne

Food taste: We ordered a chicken biryani which was much more like a dry Pulao at best, tasted nothing like biryani.

Service quality was low and very slow. The first time we came there was no other customers but the staff was not responsive.. perhaps lots of home delivery orders, so we decided to come the next day, next day was no better.

At the end of our meal we gave our card to pay and we were told they don't accept card. This is definitely something that should be showcased/mentioned upfront to avoid bad customer experience. We took a 20 minute walk to withdraw cash near the station and came back. Ambience and food quantity was not too bad.

Also doesn't help that the restaurant name matches with that of a very highly rated Indian restaurant in LA.

Over all I wouldn't recommend anyone...

The food was really bland, had absolutely no flavour and guess what the Chef forgot the add the damn salt to the dish. This was our First and last order, even after adding the instructions that they should cook it in Indian style, they had audacity to send bland food. If you cannot cater as per the customer request then probably mention this as a disclaimer. Horrendus experience, there are plenty of so called Indian restaurants like one where as in reality they literally have no Idea what is the actual Indian food. Good reviewers seems like they have no knowledge about authentic Indian food. The restaurant must mention on their Menu that their food is European/Indian fusion. I have never had such a terrible Paneer which had no salt and tasted like warm...

So so place Needs upgrading Waiter didn’t speak English and when asked if anyone else said kitchen staff but they weren’t allowed We went straight to mains as didn’t understand the menu and the waiter was useless …. He didn’t even try The lassi was good 👍🏼 Food was reasonably good and tasty

Payment - They don’t except Credit or Debit cards - Cash only crazy or what…!!! Guess tax man will after them soon

Then receipt had another Resturant name which closed down Mumbai Palace…. - just what is gong on …?

Crazy times not to take CC or DC CASH only on this day and age…..

Furniture rather worn and need some updating

The location is amazing and instead would recommend walk 3 mins Savardhan Bhavan where...
