Cantina Mexicana — Restaurant in Cologne

Food was excellent but the experience was negative. We ordered drinks, chips and salsa, and two Entrees. After 1 hour our chips were brought out, and during that time we hadn't seen our waitress at all. Many tables around us hadn't gotten food either and we noticed some people leaving out of frustration. It would have been nice if someone had checked on us and explained that they were busy or asked if we wanted to order more drinks. About 30 minutes later (now an hour and a half after we had ordered) our food came out. One of the orders was incorrect and our waitress didn't offer to correct it or do anything other than shrug her shoulders and say "Oh I guess I wrote it down wrong". really really bad food, haven't been this dissapointed in ages about mexican food. Me and my friends are from latin america so we pride ourselves in knowing about good mexican and other latin cuisine, we tried this restaurant twice. The first time we ordered and it sucked it was horrible but we gave it a second chance because sometimes things can get messed up in the dilivery process but it was even worst. I would not recommend if u genuinly enjoy good mexican food or even just edible...

We had burrito and a dish with meats served in a hot pan, wraps and sauces which you need to make a wrap by yourself. I like the burrito more because of the cheese on top and the sauce inside the wraps. All the main dishes were huge portion with rice, beans and salad as sides. Nice food but not very delicate. I would say it’s more like home-cooked meals and restaurant. Good for a regular meal especially when you’re hungry but not for special occasions...
