Asia Xi — Restaurant in Duisburg

We came here for buffet but the waitress and the cook are so rude to us.

When I sent some food to the cook for cooking , the cook yelled at us because we didn't separate food into a few category and he thought it difficult for him to cook. I have been to many restaurant like this type, no cook have this strange demand for their guest.

P.S. 1, I said to the cook if you want all the customer to separate food then you should put a sign and told everybody. He didn't reply. 2, I saw other customers mix the food and the cook didn't say anything.

I am even forced to order a cola. while I was eating ,the waitress came to me said with unfriendly expression: our boss said you must order some drinks because our restaurant make money from drinks instead of buffet. Drinks are quite cheap, but I feel quite defensed by her altitude.

Notice: 1, When I came they didn't tell me ordering drinks is a must.

2, I only have one plate of food for the buffet , they can't not make money from that? What if someone who eats more ? Will the restaurant shut down because of that?

Ok so we went for the dinner time buffet. Paid 22€. The grilled food isn't all that impressive. Horse was terrible, way overcooked, wouldn't recommend any of their horse options. Kangaroo was alright but the beef was their best cooked meat on the grill, delicious. The lamb was way undercooked, like 6-10 minutes undercooked. Seafood options were nice, specially the shrimps and octopus. Doraden was full of bones and not really nice, salmon sucked too. Sushi was acceptable. The fried section is probably where that place shine. Most of the fried foods (chicken, shrimps, plantains, croquet...etc) were tasty, I also liked the duck. Dessert wasn't anything special; tiramisu, fruits, pudding and ice cream. But there were 2 chocolate fountains (white chocolate and milk chocolate) so that's quite nice. Also, the drinks section is quite extensive so, again, that's quite nice. All in all, my overall evaluation of the food is 3/5 but the variety and price are attractive so my overall evaluation of the place...

One of the quality buffets i ever had. As a food enthusiast i am supremely impressed by the quality foods in these place. From cold dishes (salat und so weiter), to warm dishes (cooked dishes) which is just okay i might say but also lecker, all the way to desserts. But the main attraction here really is the GRILL BUFFET, i swear this is by far THE BEST "get-to-let-cook" services ever. A must try i must say.

Should have been 5 stars if it wasn't for the ständig preis Steigerung. We started eating here (that was August 2021) with the price of 19,50€ pro person. And now after just about 2 months (November 2021) the price is at 26,50€ pro person!!! I just didn't get the big jump they made about the pricing..
