Café Südpark — Restaurant in Dusseldorf

The food was in between 1 and 4 stars. I had a Salad which was drowning in "dressing". The dressing was a cup of natural yogurt. My husband had a Flammkuchen which was in comparison great. The staff is the same as the food, either very friendly or in some cases just rude. My joung son wanted to go to the playground and was upon his return refused to enter. The staff member was just tried to send him away, even though my son insisted that his mother is inside. He was also forced use the alcohol based liquid. At no point the bouncer was making any attempt to help my child or to confort him. Bottomline he was left in tears and I felt super guilty as I let myself be bullied by this guy to do something I do not feel is right. Mind you, I think adults should use those products, but not...

This place is good for leisure for any age of persons. It is located in a park. It has a few goats, a few sheep, two pigs, and this year two donkes, they are brandnew, a sight to see! One is white, rather big, the other one has grey and white patches. I know about horses and can only say, they must have cost a fortune! There is the vegetable and flower garden. The vegetables are grown organic and are sold in the shop, a Bio shop. With a good assortment +hand made valuable oil(very affortable), some children toys, greeting cards. Besides there is a Café and if you desire you can eat out! Public toilet(free of charge), 3 places, to buy ice creme, big new beautiful childrens playground. It has a wooden traktor and other items. There is a Minigolf place....

Immer wieder nett hier zu sein. Eine schön gemachte Erholungsinsel in Düsseldorf. Im Cafe bekommt man warme und kalte Speisen und Getränke. Die Preise sind nicht billig, aber o.k. Aber beim Hot Dog stimmt DSS Preis-leistungsverhältnis nicht. Hier gibt's für 1,80 € (5,10 € für 3 Hot Dogs) so mickrig kleine Hot Dogs, die bestenfalls als Kinder-Hot Dog durchgehen können. Gut ist, dass die Beilagen (Röstzwiebeln, Gurkenscheiben und Tomatenketchup) separat kommen, so dass man sich seinen Hot Dog je nach Wunsch individuell zusammenbauen kann. Schlecht ist, dass wenn man 3 Hot Dogs bestellt; man nur 1 ganz kleines Schälchen mit Röstzwiebeln bekommt, wo die Menge nur für gut 1 Hot Dog reicht. Auch gab's bur 2 Tütchen Ketchup dazu - bei 3 Hot Dogs...finde den Fehler! Aber das Brötchen und die Wurst sind nur etwa gut halb so groß wie bei normalen Hot Dogs. Geschmacklich gut, aber eben seeeehr klein für den Preis. Insbesondere für Familien mit kleineren Kindern ist es wirklich schön hier, da es neben dem Cafe u.a. noch eine Minigolfanlage, Spielplätze und verschiedene (Bauerhof-) Tiere zum Anfassen und Füttern gibt. Zudem gibt es noch einen Hochladen, wo auch selbst angebaute Produkte verkauft werden. Schön ist auch, dass die Bewirtschaftung mit Hilfe von behinderten Menschen erfolgt, die dadurch einer nützlichen Tätigkeit nachgehen können. Gelegentlich muss man dafür aber etwas Geduld mitbringen. Aber das sollte i.d.R. kein Problem sein. Und freundlich ist das Personal normalerweise auch. Fazit: immer mal gut für eine kleine und erholsame Auszeit. Deshalb meistens auch...
