MoMo — Restaurant in Eschborn

The service was good and friendly, with relatively quick and attentive staff. 👍 However, the atmosphere leaves much to be desired—it’s quite minimalist and feels more like a functional hall 🏢 than a cozy restaurant. Thankfully, the chairs were comfortable, and I found a suitable table. 🪑

I ordered a typical Korean dish, the Kimchi Pancake (if I got the name right). 🥞🇰🇷 Unfortunately, it didn’t meet my expectations in terms of quality. This was especially surprising considering the restaurant seems to be run by actual Koreans and its location right next to the German Stock Exchange 💼, where one might anticipate a higher standard of excellence.

Overall, an okay experience, but not...

I was staying nearby for a business trip and had dinner at MoMo both nights. My colleagues and I already have the next dinner planned.

On the first night, the kitchen was a bit slow and we had to wait quite a long time for the food, but it was worth the wait (and I understand they were having some issues with their kitchen). The second dinner came out much faster and the service was great that night too.

We had a mix of maki rolls and sashimi, bulgogi and budae jjigae to share between three. The portions were quite big, we could have easily fed a fourth person but instead we ate it all ourselves. 😅

Α Korean friend of mine recommended this restaurant so I was kind of sure that it is good. To be honest it exceeded my expectations. Large menu with so many different options to choose from. Whatever we ordered was sooo delicious. Loved the pancake, the glass noodles with beef and veggies, the crispy duck with spicy sause. The fried chicken though comparing to the other dishes was not something I d order again. It's ideal place going with big group of friends so that you can share dishes and try different tastes.
