I do not understand who is reviewing this hotel. It is awful.
On arrival it feels dark and dreary - not helped by its location in a business park, with only a BurgerKing in sight for food. Very 1970s feel to it.
Dirty rooms:
My bathroom wasn’t cleaned, the toilet had dried urine stains on the seat that I had to wipe away myself.
The bathroom bin was not emptied.
Long black hair on the rug. Clearly the room had not been vacuumed.
Dust on surfaces.
After reporting this to reception I didn’t see much improvement and the hair is still on the rug.
Breakfast:
A large display of food is available but pancakes are cold, flat and feel like they have come out of a box and heated by microwave rather than made by a chef. No syrup is in sight but rather some fruit jelly mixture/liquid.
Scrambled eggs are grossly overcooked until bonded like a brick and blue. Fried eggs are overcooked and sit in their own mushy pile beside the scrambled eggs.
Bacon isn’t bacon, it is small thin sausages. At least that is what was available in the bacon tray.
Coffee is from the machine, but pleasant enough.
Dinner:
I didn’t bother. Instead I ate at a Mexican restaurant a short walk from the hotel called Yumas - I recommend this place.
I look forward...
Read moreVery pleased with my time here. Across the board here, the staff was knowledgeable and kind. English is no problem. Hotel is new and everything is quality and classy and clean, clean, clean. Public areas are cozy and lighting throughout (lobby, corridors, restaurant) is on the dimmer side which I really like. The room was huge by European standards and furnished nicely. (Carpet was cheap, which seemed out of place in an otherwise upscale decor.) Bed: awesome. Bathroom large with a great big shower. No American-style washcloths. Room has deadbolt lock and also new/safer style chain lock (the one that clips off the slider so it can't move unless you press it). Weekday breakfast buffet from 6:30-10 was nicely sized. Dinner was outstanding. I saw huge, gorgeous burgers and fries. My soup and salad were fantastic with 4-star restaurant presentation.
It's in an office park type neighborhood which seems safe. Free, plentiful open-air parking.
I do wish it was closer to the S-bahn. 1.8km/15min walk to Eschborn S-bahn was fine but long if carrying anything heavy. Taxi to S-bahn 10euro. Station is 3 stops from Congress Center Messe, which lets off right at the Messe. To drive you are 9km to Congress Center Messe or...
Read moreToday is the fourth day of my stay at your hotel. On the second and third day, in the evening, we ate dinner at your restaurant. Every time I paid the bills for our whole group, a few people. I'll probably have a bill for few hundred euros waiting for me at the reception. Today's dinner was the third, and we sat in yours restaurant as a group of eight, at 7:30pm. Everyone ordered dinner and something to drink. They all got their meals, and I didn't. After 55 minutes, the waitress came up and asked me to place an order. I was answer that I placed the order almost an hour ago, all the others received their dishes and have already eaten them. It's been another 30 minutes and my dish has still not been brought. The worst part is that none of the waiters felt guilty, for them it was a normal situation. And in the end, it turned out that my dish that was never brought was on the bill to be paid. A waiter with an ironic smile offered me a free beer. We finished our group dinner and I didn't get the food I ordered. For the full clarity, there was no crowd of people in the restaurant, 75% of the tables were empty. Your guest from...
