We loved that the allergens are clearly labeled on the menu and 95% of items can be made SAFELY gluten free. We let them know upon reserving by phone that we had a gluten free person with us. From the moment we sat down at the table, the gluten free person was identified, gluten free beer was offered, the one menu item that had a sauce that was not safe was voluntarily pointed out before we could even ask, and from start to finish every care was taken to make sure we had a wonderful experience. We got gluten free schnitzel and gluten free chocolate cake with chocolate sauce for dessert and… WOW! The quality is incredible and the rich, flavorful tastes reflect the deep care and attention to detail that the owners put into their restaurant! We had the pleasure to chat with them after our meal and they are lovely people with decades of personal experience with food allergies. Königsberger Hof is THE PLACE to go for delicious, authentic German food that is both allergen-friendly and delicious. We reserved a seat pretty late and got a nice, cozy atmosphere. There's a fresh salad bar, amd friendly staff, and the menu is incredibly allergen-aware, including options for the lactose free, nut sensitive, gluten intolerant and even more! The food was delicious! I highly recommend the restaurant as a destination-spot, even if it's a little out of your way! The schnitzel is a very sizeable portion, and deeply savory. Hallo, ich suchte ein Restaurant, weil ich mit meiner Familie zu meinen 70 Geburtstag, essen gehen wollte. Doch Ich hatte ein kleines Problem, eine Person hat Zoeliaki und es gibt so gut wie kein Restaurant, im größeren Umfeld von Eschweiler, wo die Küche sich danach richtet. Finde ich den Menschen gegenüber unfair. Doch es gibt eins, in Eschweiler Ost. Unscheinbar, aber Super gut. Der Koenigsberger Hof. Die Menschen, die mit dieser Krankheit leben müssen, sind dort willkommen. Die Betreiber, dieser Lokalität, bemühen sich sehr darum, diesen Menschen, Speisen so köstlich anzurichten, das Sie ohne Bedenken diese zu sich nehmen können. Wo bekommen Zoeliaki kranke Menschen Schnitzel zu essen? Die Wirtin nimmt sich alle Zeit, um alle anstehenden Fragen zu beantworten, alle Achtung, auch wenn das Lokal besetzt ist. Die Speissen die dort angerichtet werden sind alle köstlich und man kann dieses Restaurant unbedenklich weiter empfehlen. Das Restaurant ist schon mehrfach ausgezeichnet und prämiert worden.
