Bornheimer Dorfstadl — Restaurant in Frankfurt

Went there to watch Euro 2020 and to have some dinner. Food and drinks were great. Service on the other hand, pretty bad.

They ended up asking multiple parties to leave (including ours), even though we would gladly have stayed there and had a few extra rounds. so We did not get to finish our drinks (I had a little over half of a beer taken aways), as the staff took them away them and then refused to give us a receipt. Once we left, they allowed other people to take our seats and they were then allowed to get drinks and food. Oh and our table was not reserved. For these reasons alone, I will give...

Seit einiger Zeit hat sich im Dorfstadl vieles getan. Die neuen Pächter geben absolut Vollgas und kümmern sich um jeden Gast, als wäre er/sie/es schon immer Stammgast gewesen. Valerie und Björn leben Gastronomie. Das ist absolut spürbar. Man fühlt sich nicht nur als Gast, eher als Freund.

Was wir bis jetzt von der Karte gegessen haben durchweg klasse. Schnitzel sind super gebraten. Der Beilagensalat geht von der Größe her, schon als Vorspeise durch. Aber absolut lecker. Die Steakhouse-Pommes ...ein Traum. Vorsicht... die Portionen sind grooooß, also Hunger mitbringen!

Oft gibt es Specials, die vom Personal noch zusätzlich angekündigt werden. Sahne-Pfeffersoße zum Schnitzel... göttlich Jetzt in der kalten Jahreszeit gibts noch ein "Special"... Käsefondue oder ein fleischlastiges. Aber nur auf Vorbestellung und ab 2 Personen. Das geben wir uns gern beim nächsten mal....

Was auch nicht vergessen werden darf: Es gibt super leckere Schnäpse und Brände. Eine tolle Auswahl hochwertiger Spirituosen.
