We had a big dinner booked at Schöneberger with a group of friends. The space made a great first impression: low lighting, modern yet cozy décor, and a relaxed, intimate vibe that felt welcoming without being too formal. What stood out the most was the staff, easily the best part of the experience, and not what you can normally expect from service in Germany. Every single person we interacted with was friendly, warm, and incredibly attentive. With a large group, service can often get messy, but here it was smooth, personal, and genuinely pleasant. I wanted to try something traditional, so I went for two classics: the Frankfurt Schnitzel and the Jägerschnitzel. The schnitzel portions were generous, but I found the meat quite thin. The Frankfurt Schnitzel was decent, but I really missed the boiled egg in the green sauce, which would’ve added some texture and richness to the dish. The Jägerschnitzel, on the other hand, was more flavourful, with a deep mushroom sauce that felt comforting and well-balanced. The sides were spot on fries were crispy and golden, and the salad was fresh and simple, just as it should be. To finish off, I had an Espresso Martini, which surprised me: really tasty and smooth, though oddly served in a regular glass instead of a martini glass - small detail, but worth mentioning. Overall, a solid place for a nice evening with friends. The food was fine, not unforgettable, but the atmosphere and the staff definitely made it a night...

This place has a really great atmosphere. It's in Bornheim, which is a pretty good part of town. It has outdoor seating in the front and the back. Out back is a charming little courtyard where I imagine it would be nice to sit if you wanted to get away from the hustle and bustle street side. The inside has a nice design as well. High ceilings, open floor plan, large bar and musical instruments hanging all over the walls. I think there is some other weird stuff on the walls as well, but I can't remember because I was on muscle relaxers and drank way too much beer. Service was adequate and the food came quick. The nachos were surprisingly good, but the Frankfurter schnitzel was just ok. Overall, cool bar to hang out at. Drink beer and eat nachos! I'm going to put that on...

Went here for dinner today. Had the Wiener Schnitzel and the salad with chanterelles.

First we went to the restaurant. The interior is typical for a Frankfurt restaurant. There are benches outside, so you can also enjoy food and drink outside.

The service itself is average. Friendly, but unfortunately not attentive. The restaurant wasn't busy, but the service chatted inside.

Now for the food: the salad was tasty, but there were far too few chanterelles in it. The schnitzel with fried potatoes, green sauce and side salad was rather poor.

The schnitzel was very dry, the fried potatoes rather bland. The green sauce, however, was very tasty.

The Schöneberger is and remains a cool place for drinks. For the food, I would rather choose...

Going out to good places in Frankfurt is not easy. You need an insider to give couple of good tips and this is a real good one. Schoeneberger is a very mix of café,restaurant, bar & pub. It is located in a very busy area so never come with car here because you will loose your time in trying finding a parking which is useless. Come with the underground. The station is around only 200m far from the Schoeneberger. Here you can really have a very good food. I tried a stake of 300g which was really fantastic. My friend ordered a Hamburger and was very happy with it. Team is very friendly and serve very quick. Prices are usual. All in all for me this is one of the best places I can recommend in Frankfurt when going out at night.

Perfectly crafted macrofoam to about 150, no scorched flavor in the slightest, quality espresso, layered in 3rds... the most proper and delightful cappuccino I have had in my 6 days here in Frankfurt. As a coffee snob, I've tried atleast 20 this week from many places. The macrofoam was so beautiful, I had to steal my boyfriend's and set it right atop mine! The creme brulee was also outstanding. Sweetened ever so slightly and perfectly!
