Fridas Cafe — Restaurant in Frankfurt

We recently visited this restaurant with the intention of enjoying a tarte flambée, but were mistakenly served brown bread. By the time we realized the error, the staff informed us that they couldn't replace the dish because we had touched it. Instead, they suggested we order the tarte flambée as an additional item at full price. This situation suggests that had we not touched the dish, it might have been served to other customers. Previously, I had enjoyed this place, but this particular experience was quite disappointing. I would suggest the restaurant revises its service policies or at least confirms orders with customers before preparation to prevent such issues. I have been coming to this cafe quite often - however, I am shocked at how we were treated today by the waitress (older, black hair). Super impolite and rude.

She took our order and was leaving without asking all of us on the table. I told her we were already ordering and she said we had already ordered a lot of things? How does that make sense? I said we were still ordering and continued to do so. Then I did a summary for her. Apparently, she got it wrong and later came back to fight with us for refusing those “extra lotus pancakes” that she believed we had ordered and told us to order properly next time.

My message for you: you do your job right next time. Learn to take the orders right. And take a course on customer service. Maybe take some notes from that exceptionally sweet male...

A few days ago I went there to have brunch with my friends and I was totally disappointed with the service. Even though the location is great and the esthetics of the coffee shop is very elegant the personnel are lacking basic training. The middle age woman was looking around aggressively. She came to our table to take the order without smiling, greetings or even saying hi. She finally came after some time and she was even blaming us for waving at her to come. When she had our orders she threw the dishes aggressively in the table not even wishing to guten Appetit. All in all she ruined my day... I left with a headache and bad energy. I don't know why it was like that to us. If I could give you one piece of advice...
