Malamania - Malatang & Korean Fried Chicken - aus 100% Halal Food — Restaurant in Frankfurt

I ordered one honey mustard crispy chicken. Delicious!!!!!!! Def will try other flavor!! If you come during lunch time, you’ll be offered a side dish!!! I chose sweet potato fries and they are super crispy outside but very moist inside! So I only paid 13,5 in total including a Coke. The place is spacious and well-decored. It is located in Nordwest Zentrum. I have not tried Malatang but maybe one day… And the food serving robot is so cute haha!

Update: I have visited the restaurant for the second time and third time.

Sweet spicy chicken is way to salty, you’d better order with a rice bowl. I did not enjoy finishing it actually cuz it was so salty. The salad side dish is acceptable, it was also salty and the portion was kinda small? I wish they just simply had served more salads with mayonaise dressing or very light dressing. it would be more balanced. Not salty + salty =...

The serving sizes are huge! We were two people, got one serving of the Korean fried chicken with sweet chilli sauce, it was amazing and super juicy, more then enough for two people. Then we ofc also got a Malatang soup. Tried to be conservative, got a few veggies, some shrimp, 1 packet of udon, and some other toppings. Came about to 20 euros for another massive serving that we couldn't finish. They charge 1 euro for a soup leftover box, so consider bringing your own leftovers container if you don't wanna spend that. Staff was super helpful and spoke English, explaining how to assemble the soup. They have a free sauce bar where you can mix together whatever sauces you want, I loved that!! If you don't want to have leftovers I suggest two people share one soup.

I did find the chicken soup base to be a bit bland, next time would probably opt for a spicier one.

Here is where you can go for DIY noodles. They offer plenty of toppings (protein, carbs, and vegetables) which you would like to add into your noodles. The price depends on how much topping you take (100g~2.60€). At the counter, you can choose your wish broth then they will cook your noodles for you. The soup is served in a huge bowl so no worries if you take a big pile of toppings for your noodles.

So this is my opinion after my first visit : Delicious noodle soup Very friendly and helpful service Nice atmosphere Fair price Will definitely come back again ☺️

**Only one thing I would add in my review after my 2nd time visit is the air conditioner should be maybe colder then the customers could enjoy your yummy noodles soup...
