Sanmaru — Restaurant in Frankfurt

I went to this restaurant to eat lunch with 2 colleagues. After taking our orders we have waited half an hour to only get served one dish out of three. After waiting for almost an hour, while my colleague is finished with his meal by now, they still can't manage to serve the remaining dishes. The staff seemd overwhelmed and the kitchen was obviously unprepared. Sadly we had to leave on an empty stomach due to limited break time. As I see countless good reviews from other guests my visit was probably just an exception. Still I would have appreciated it if the staff were honest...

I'm in Sanmaru hotel since a couple of days and will stay here till the end of the week, 5 nights in total. I found sufficient comfort, a clean room, friendly hosts and very strategical position, close to the tram station. By tram you can get in a few minutes to the Messe and the city center. Close to the hotel there are shops, a supermarket, pharmacy, bank, etc. The internet wifi signal is sufficiently stable in the room. And tariffs of the hotel are honest and competitive. So, I would return here again....

Living in Frankfurt, I have been to many Korean restaurants. Some are pretty bad (too much MSG in food) and some are quite good. But, this place, SANMARU, is truly the best of the best. You can actually feel the real Korean taste, especially from the soups. On top of that, they provide awesome food at a reasonable price. If you live in Frankfurt and already got sick of other Korean restaurants, this is the place to visit. I can guarantee that the cuisine the chef brings you will exceed your...
