La Fattoria — Restaurant in Freising

The place is very nice and has a very Italian ambiance. When me and my girlfriend arrived for dinner, the place was already very crowded. We ordered a shared starter and two main corses and had to wait around 40 minutes for the starter: bruschetta. This was alright and after that I had to wait for another 30 minutes for my pizza. The problem was, that my girlfriend's Tortellini arrived more then 20 minutes after my Pizza. Since I did not start eating on my own, my pizza was cold after that. The waiting time in general did not really bother me. I just cannot understand that they did not manage to serve the main course at a table for two at the same time. They could have even put my pizza on hold somewhere, but delivering main courses at a table with such a big time difference is a dealbreaker for me.

Amazing! Incredibly authentic italian food and the family that took care of us was wonderful! Their patio seating was beautiful and intimate, surrounded by marvelous greenery (including olive trees). They really set the ambience for you! The atmosphere indoors was cozy and you could watch them pull the freshly stone fired pizzas and calzones from the brick oven (we had to go inside because a storm came in). I could have been at my (a) grandpas house in Sicily! Highly encourage a visit… you will definitely want to come back for more! I know we will! The Hauswein was phenomenal and beer traditionally Bavarian! Try the limoncello as well! One of the pictures is a piece of wood the couple who own the restaurant continue to save from their wedding year and the time at which they took over the family run restaurant. Recommend 100%. Nice Italian place. They have very nice selection of Pizza’s. As you can see menu is quite good . Strongly recommended to take desert after and espresso. Grilled meat is salat is something that you need to try . Prices are fine despite all. Service is also quite good. No reservations needed for this place although sometimes Is full, usually weekends or Friday‘s afternoons. If you are living close came walking because there is not so much parking space in front. This small family Italian restaurant located at Freising would be perfect for family lunch or dinner. Lovely terrace build around old tree is something that you need to see. Strongly recommend for everyone. I give it only 4 stars because I have traveled around Italy and I have saw Bette unique Italian places.
