Wildkaffee Café — Restaurant in Garmisch-Partenkirchen

The restaurant manager actually kicked me out... I can't believe such bad buissines still exists!!!

The manager or waiter (hipster), was angry at me because: I asked for a power socket Took 2 waters, where apparently only 1 is allowed...as if I could know that.

The most surprising thing was, that he yelled at me for writing google reviews. MAN you know that this (⬆️) could have been a 1 Star review right?

If a buissines does it's job well, the reviews will increase its potential. If a buissines ignores safety standards, harrases its customers or has legal issues, the market can be cleansed of such conditions faster, than the government can intertwine. All thanks to customer reviews.

Germany is a social market situation. The government intervenes by approx. 40%. 60% is pure capitalism, meaning that the competition can still out do, you Mr.Hipster manager!

No other place would ever complain to the customers about such fiddle faddle.

Here's how to manage this situation:

Either accept the market conditions and improve your service capabilities (costs covered by slight price increase on every product). Increase the salary of the hot waitresses and delegate service decisions to them. You go do accounting and cost controlling (especially the service one, so they don't set unrealistic expectations cost-wise) Write little signs next to the water (like: only one water per customer) And at the counter (max stay time 30. Mins). Let the customer know, what they're getting themselves into. This will be the cheapest option, but not recommended for the service industry.

I've worked in the service industry, I've made enough mistakes myself. All do.

I'm not coming back, unless you hire a real buissines executive...

Well, I can't answer to the earlier reviews below from George and Nicole but I was there today and would like to say that the restaurant was extremely busy today with not many free tables and due to the corona situation everyone should understand that you can't occupy a table for hours just to use the wifi when there are other people also wanting a table (btw the wifi was working, I was able to upload my story on instagram using it just fine). I go there a couple of times a week and at the moment they understandably want to use the capacity as well as possible due to the fact there's limited capacity during corona times. I can't believe that the staff can be rude as they're always incredibly friendly and go out of their way to help you out. All the food is produced fresh daily from their kitchen and it's always brilliant. I can understand that sometimes when on holidays it can be frustrating when things don't go perfectly to plan but I believe that this cafe is by far the best in Garmisch and don't think they deserve such an...

As someone who frequents coffee shops, I have never had an experience like the one I had here. I came in with the simple expectation of enjoying a good cup of coffee, but was instead met with rudeness and arrogance from a staff member who may have been the owner.

I made a simple request for my coffee to be served in a takeaway cup due to a personal issue with drinking from regular glass. Instead of accommodating this small request, I was told, "My house, my rules." This was dismissive, unprofessional, and entirely out of line. Customers should never be treated this way.

I was hoping to make this coffeeshop a regular stop, but the staff's behavior has discouraged me from ever returning. It's unfortunate because the atmosphere seemed inviting, but hospitality clearly lacks in this establishment. I've been to many coffee shops and have never been treated...
