NOT A GOOD PLACE TO EAT. Key thing is that nothing at this restaurant is truly worth the time nor your money.
I was on my vaccation with my family on memorial day weekend. On a Saturday I called and asked if they could deliver and the lady that answered was neither patient nor courteous. Probably down right rude. However, considering the circumstance I gave them a chance anyway because I know they are probably only one of few places willing to deliver to edelweiss and they might have some good food worth eating.
The FOOD / BLAND - TASTELESS - IN SOME CASES NO WHERE CLOSE TO MEXICAN FOOD. What Mexican place puts corn in a CHICKEN quesadilla? IT almost taste like corn chowder. Second steak burrito was almost tasteless! No seasoning. The red and green salsa was almost drowned in lime juice and nothing else.
To be fair food was not cold and the cheeseburger as well as nuggets delivered was not bad for the kids. That's really not why I chose this place.
IF BUSINESS'S ACT LIKE THEY ARE DOING YOU A FAVOR BY DELIVERING 80 EUROS WORTH OF FOOD ITS BEST TO STICK TO NAME BRAND PLACES. DO NOT EAT HERE BAD BUSINESS PRACTICE AND TERRIBLE...
Read moreOur experience at Sabroso, unfortunately, mirrored that of many other diners: the service was disappointingly slow. It took 40 minutes to receive our starter of nachos, and the burritos followed only a few minutes later. This was only after a waitress noticed our frustration. This is a stark contrast to our past experiences at Sausalitos, where service was notably quicker.
The quality of the food has noticeably declined from what we used to enjoy at Sausalitos. The burritos lacked the necessary seasoning, with the chicken in one of the burritos being particularly dry. Overall, the dishes were underwhelming and did not meet our expectations for flavor or quality.
The atmosphere of the restaurant remains pleasant, but the slow service significantly detracted from our dining experience.
Having been regulars at Sausalitos, we had high hopes for Sabroso. Unfortunately, the transition has not been favorable, with both the service and food quality failing to live up to the previous standards. This experience has led us to reconsider our options for Mexican cuisine in the area, as the current offering at Sabroso was disappointing, particularly for a special occasion like a birthday celebration. We find ourselves nostalgic for the Sausalitos of old and on the lookout for new dining...
Read moreHorrible, terrible, I just went there with girlfriend for few cocktails and we decided to order some bbq chicken nachos. After 50 minutes waiting time for nachos(meanwhile my girlfriend finished her drink and mine was half empty) we got our nachos but they give us bbq beef instead of bbq chichen nachos. We've been waiting for another 10 minutes until we saw a waitress to make her aware that we've been served the wrong nachos and we told her that we don't want anything else and we would like to get the bill and the nachos to be taken off the bill, she took the nachos back to the kitchen and she brought it back straight away to tell us that it was bbq chicken nachos and not beef, at that point we had to explain her that I am a chef and I know how the bbq chicken looks and taste. She took the plate back to the kitchen and she brought us the label to show us that they serve chicken there, I was actually surprised to see that they serve frozen food when they pretend to serve fresh food. After all of this we had to pay for the nachos, wich we didn't ate at all. So avoid that place if you don't want to have a ruined night. Thank you very much Sausalitos for...
