Hotel Restaurant Café Buck — Restaurant in Gemeindeverwaltungsverband Bad Urach

Stayed here for two nights whilst on business, this was my third time visiting Bad Urach.||Check in was quick and easy and my room on the third floor was better than expected to be honest, being fairly large and warm with a decent bathroom. There was also an outside balcony which no doubt would have been great in the summer, however sadly as I was visiting in December on this occasion I didn't make any use of it.||I ate in the hotel on my first night and I have to say the food quality iis very good. I had the schnitzel and it was one of the nicest I have ever tasted and was also a decent portion size. The restaurant / bar area is decorated really tastefully in a typically Germanic style and is certainly one of the highlights of the hotel.||Sleep quality both nights was good and it was extremely quiet at night.||There are a few car parking spaces round the back of the hotel which is a bonus (those who have been to Bad Urach before will know that it is not at all a car friendly town).||There is free wi - fi in the hotel however you have to sit in the restaurant area to use it which is a little annoying as I wanted to do some work in the evening. ||On my previous visits to Bad Urach, I had stayed at both the Ratstube and the Flair, however in my opinion the Buck is significantly better than both of these in every way. The village-center is really old German style and offers enough opportunities for walking or shopping. Little bars and restaurants can be found throughout the village. Especially the main square is a lively spot to drink or eat something.||The Hotel Buck is very conveniently located in the city center. Parking is available at the hotel, but also in the area around.||The room I had (nr 20) was really huge. The balcony was more like a terras with chairs and a table on it. The beds were good and the bathroom looked a little bit outdated, but was clean and everything was working properly. And compared to the price of the room, it is really a bargain.||The breakfast-buffet is good, with fresh bread, good coffee of tea.||The restaurant which belongs to the hotel, serves excellent food and the service is super friendly.||Next time when I am in the neighbourhoud, I will definitely go back....
