Museums-Café — Restaurant in Gemeindeverwaltungsverband Waldenbuch/Steinenbronn

I really wanted to love this place - but the staff makes that impossible. In fact, they made it impossible to order or enjoy anything to eat or drink. We have tried twice and the same waitress was on shift both times.

Yesterday, we waited patiently while the waitress was sitting at a table talking with another guest. After a few minutes, another employee came out from the kitchen and completely ignored our attempts to get her attention - she went back into the kitchen. The waitress sitting down finally looked up at us and said ‘Sit anywhere’. We took a seat outside where many other guests were and waited about 15 minutes. No one came out for our order or any other guests’ needs. After about 10 minutes, we witnessed one guest go into the cafe and ask the waitress, still sitting with the other table talking, she stood up and turned toward the outdoor area - we were hopeful this meant she would come take our order, but she instead turned back around, sat with her friends and continued to ignore everyone else. We waited. 5 more minutes before leaving.

The location is beautiful. The chocolate from the shop is amazing & I hear that the Cafe has decent food and really good iced coffee - but the wait staff makes it impossible for...

This is our second visit and today we walked out before a service person ever helped us. Our first visit, the service staff was poor but today really sealed that we won’t be back (we live locally). We brought a friend visiting who was excited to go. We walked into the cafe, where a waitress was sitting with a man and a child. No one greeted us. We wondered out loud if we could just sit outside a few times. No answer. A woman came out from the back and ignored us. Finally the woman at table said “you can sit”. Then we watched her sit back down, stand up and look at us at some point, sat back down. We waited outside for 10 min while she continued sitting….and then left. Nope,...

Wir waren heute mit Maske zu Besuch. An sich ein Café mit Potenzial. Innen leider zu eng: Stuttgart ist Corona-Hotspot- es wurden weder Personalien bei den gesamten Gästen abgefragt, noch die Mindestabstände zwischen den Tischen eingehalten. Das heißt, wenn alle Gäste und das Personal an dem Virus erkranken, ist die Nachverfolgung nicht gewährleistet. Regelungen vom Staat also nicht eingehalten. Das ist für Ritter Sport ein Armutszeugnis. Der Raum eng und überfüllt. Ein Gast saß direkt neben dem Bestelltresen, während ich neben ihm stand und gewartet habe.

Das Wetter war immer wieder nieselig, aber in dem Moment trocken und unter den Schirmen draußen konnte man gut sitzen. Leider war die gesamte Terrasse nicht geputzt, Tische nicht trocken gewischt, obwohl ganze 5 Tische draußen besetzt waren(etwa 15 Personen). Ein Abräumwagen war draußen ebenfalls nicht aufgestellt bei Selbstbedienung. Das heißt, man darf sein Tablett wieder durch den gesamten Laden tragen. Die Bedienungen sind so gestresst und hektisch am Abarbeiten, dass zum Zigarette durchziehen nach draußen vor die Personaltür gerannt wird. Der Cappuccino war nur halb gefüllt und nach 4 Schlucken leer. Viel Schaum, der aber sofort wieder zusammenbricht. So macht man natürlich Gewinn als Unternehmen beim Kaffee, aber keine glücklichen Kunden. Schokolade an der Tasse, würde das Unternehmen kaum was kosten und wäre verkaufsfördernd, war nicht dabei, ebenso wenig wie ein Keks etc. Kuchen war mit Aufschlag-Convenience-Buttercreme, hübsch anzusehen, aber eben keine echte Butter verarbeitet. Tut mir leid, aber da habe ich mir mehr erhofft. Bei schönem Wetter ist es nett, draußen mit Blick ins Grüne zu setzen, aber das werden sich Besucherströhme dann wohl auch denken. Für uns in der Coronazeit auf gar keinen Fall zu empfehlen und auch danach nur ohne...
