Hotel und Ristorante Gino — Restaurant in Groß-Gerau

Had to travel on business to Gross Gerau in Frankfurt. I did try for a different hotel but they had no rooms for my dates. I got a friend to book the hotel Gino as he informed me it's the best Italian restaurant in the city. I was given a room on the second floor over looking the main square. The room was very clean and was on-suite. It had everything you would need including a small fridge which came in. Very useful. It did only have a single bed. I did not expect it but the room was cleaned and the towels changed every day.It works out it run by an Italian family. I do have to say there is no lift in the hotel so if you need one this is not the place for you. I had breakfast each morning an did eat there a few nights, the food served was always outstanding as was the wine they chose for me. The main hotel in town is the Alder which I did eat in but I found the service poor an over priced. I spent 9 nights in this little gem an had fun with the staff and the food was wonderful. If I do go back to Gross Gerau I will be checking...

Waren heute zum ersten Mal dort und nie wieder. Wir waren zu viert und wollten nur was trinken da wurde uns schon in einem bösen Ton gesagt das hätten wir vorher sagen sollen dann hätte er uns an einen anderen Tisch gesetzt denn er müsste 10 Euro für das Gedeck nehmen. Frechheit. Woher soll ich denn wissen das man einen extra Tisch bekommt wenn man nur was trinken will. Hatte ich noch nie 😳. Dann haben wir 3 Cola und eine Sprite bestellt. Beim trinken habe ich gemerkt das statt Sprite Mineralwasser mit etwas Zitrone im Glas war. Darauf hin habe ich mich beschwert und freundlich gesagt das das keine Sprite ist. Und jetzt kommt der Knaller. Der Besitzer hat tatsächlich behauptet das sei Sprite und hat dann das Glas mitgenommen und gesagt :,, dann trinkst du halt wasser. „. Sowas freches und Böses geht garnicht. Wir sind aufgestanden und Sind gegangen. Der sieht uns nie wieder. Schämen ...
