Update (6 Oct'24): Food is still amazing as usual 😍 Tried their Masala Dosa (vorspeisen), Hyderabadi veg dum biryani and paneer sizzler with mango lassi and homemade limesoda. All tasted really good, and this remains at the top of my list! 🥰
Original Review: We were looking for Indian restaurant on the way towards Nürnberg, preferably near Autobahn, and voila - we stumbled upon a not-so-hidden (and a hugely popular) gem!!! We tried their Special Vegetarian Thali, a vegetarian Thali, Mango lassi and homemade lemonade.
All dishes were crafted to such perfection (they custom make each dish to your preferred level of spiciness) - for reference, we requested for Indian spicy level!! Their desserts were also so delicious 🤤
For those who are planning to drive all the way to Frankfurt - you have to stop to try here at least once!!! Now, we have found a forever Indian place to dine-in whenever we pass via Aschaffenburg!!
Their hospitality, service and ambience are also best in class!! Overall, I'd give 10 out of 10!!! 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟 Highly recommended 😊 Thank you so much for the super delicious food and your...
Read moreI wandered in for dinner the other night and was blown. I’m not the most well versed in Indian cuisine, but this was as good as any I have ever had. I ordered a lamb curry, medium spice, with a side of garlic naan and it was fantastic. The sauce was rich and flavorful, the lamb absolutely tender, and the spice level was perfect. I’d say it was more medium plus compared to what I’m used to, but it was nice nonetheless. The garlic naan is fantastic, great flavor and nice crispy edges. For dessert I had the mango ice cream which was a nice way to cool and relax my mouth after the spice and flavor of the entree.
Also there is lots or parking in the garage/lot up the street
All in all, it was a great meal capped off by wonderful service. As a non German speaker it’s nice to visit restaurants where the English flows so perfectly sometimes. I will be back on my next trip...
Read moreIndian Chilli Haus is a hidden gem in Hösbach, serving some of the most authentic South Indian food I've had in Germany. The Sambar, in particular, was a standout—flavorful, rich, and easily one of the best I've tasted here. Their menu is diverse, offering a wide range of North Indian dishes alongside the South Indian specialties, so there’s something for everyone.
The service was attentive, and the staff made sure we were well taken care of throughout the meal. I also loved that they offer plenty of vegetarian options, catering to different dietary preferences without compromising on taste.
Although it's a bit off the beaten path, that only adds to its charm, making the dining experience feel more intimate and special. If you're looking for a place that serves both excellent South and North Indian cuisine, Indian Chilli Haus is well...
